I've been a pretty heavy user of opiates/opioids for the last 3 years. Started with breaking my back at my job. I'm a pipefitter and work on natural gas pipelines and i slipped on a piece of a pipe and got lawnchaired lol. Well anyways I started with being prescribed 60 Norco 10s a month then 120 and then 120 Percocet 10s a month then 60 Roxy 15s and then 150 then moved up 2 more times to 120 Roxy 30s then 180 Hydromorphone ir 8s. Well I always abused my medicine so my tolerance started growing from 2 norcos to get off to 5 roxy 30s. When I got the dillies my tolerance was at about 120-150mg of oxy in one dose, usually never redosed, just took the one big dose in the morning and that's it. Well I knew hydromorph had awful oral ba and i remember how well oxymorph worked insuffilated so I went with that roa with the dillies. Well I was only on the dillies about 2 months and by the end of my usage of it I was snorting between 24mg and 48mg at once. Well I stopped the dillies and went back to hydrocodone and oxy after about a week of nothing at all and i literally couldn't get high. I was so pissed, I figured my tolerance had dropped a little in a week so I started with 80mg of hydrocodone and only felt the slightest warmth and i convinced myself it was just an off day so the next day I tried 105mg of oxy and of course felt a little more than the day before but nothing like I should have. I was pissed haha. So the next day I got some morphine and ate 120mg, felt it slightly so I added another 85mg and was finally high. So from 2 months of dilauded use it jacked my tolerance up to 205mg of morphine. I was shocked. I was not about to let my tolerance stay that high and have to take that much to get off. So I took two weeks off and my tolerance dropped back to a normal level like 80mg Norco or Oxy and i was happy. I just couldn't believe how high it was for a little bit there. Sorry this thread is pointless I know, I just wanted to share the story.
