Hydromorph newbie

I've recently acquired a few hydromorph contin 12mg's and have a couple questions

I've never done any opiates but I've always been curious to try heroin just once to know what its like. Never had a connection or anything so there was no immediate plan but by chance I got these hm's and figured I might give them a try

was planning to snort them

how long does the high last?
how much of the capsule should i do?
what can i expect?

Damn... always wanted to try heroin. I think everyone that has ever thought that, later become addicted to opiates. It's pretty ill advised. Accurate dosing is going to be near impossible, because each capsule contains 12mg of time release beads. They are about 50% nasal BA. They might be a pain to crush up, but you wanna shoot for a very low dosage like 2mg. Don't know how you're gonna hit the mark, other than splitting it into 12 lines that look equal and sniffing one then waiting 20 minutes or so to see if it was enough, then adding another line if needed.

High doesn't last long, a couple hours. You can expect to want more after. It will feel like you're content.

I suggest not taking it.

If you had just 1, it wouldn't be that bad. If you like it and kept doing them until they were gone, theres no doubt that you could be addicted at that point. General rule is, get high once, and place 3 days in between the next use so you don't build up opiates in your system which later causes withdrawal when you run out.

It's a lot easier in theory, though. Once the drug hits your brain, your thoughts magically transform.

I think if you are just starting with opiates / opioids you should first and foremost take into account what everyone who has been there will tell you, and just avoid them.

If however you are adamant to try them, why start with hydromorphone? It's on the strong end of whats out there and simply overkill for someone with no tollerance.

Hydromorph contins are a bitch to crush. I acquire the hydromorph contin 18mg capsules when i run out of my morphine and Ive been using hydromorphone in one form or another for about 5 years. I actually broke my fucking pill crusher trying to crush up those beads

The way to crush these is to crush them up as much as you can in a pill crusher then what i do is put them, on a really strong, hard and flat surface and put a card like say a bank card or something over the semi crushed beads. Make sure it's a card you don't need anymore. Then i get a 10lbs steel weight and roll it over the card thus turning the beads to dust.

I would snort no more then 6mg's your first time. Hydromorphone is the second most potent opiate on the market here with fentanyl being the first. Hydromorphone is the crack of opiates and by far the most compulsive. I used to snort a bottle of 90 4mg dilaudid pills in the span of a few days ffs. Then i ended up hitting the needle and i went from snorting a bottle of them in a few days to shooting up a bottle in a few days.

Tread carefully unless you want to end up a addict very quickly. Personally i would say stick to codeine or even abit of oxycodone if you are intent on using opiates. Hydromorphone is one of the most addictive opiates out there.

I wouldn't do them if I were you.I would go for something less addictive and like Paranoid Android says they are Mega strong.
I've been on opiates for the past 7 years because of both my knees being messed up.
I started with T3's then Perks ,Oxy's and finally Hydromorph contin and 4mg Dilaudids.
Two years ago I was maxed out at 42mg of hydromorph contin every 6 hrs' and I took 8 of the 4mg dilaudids daily.
So in total I was taking 200mg every 24hr's and I could still function.
After the surgery my Dr was called in to the medical board being questioned why she was giving me so much? She had 4 other patients getting a high dosage as well.
This is when my hell started She told me she was going to ween me down to a lower dosage and in 4 months I was down to 42mg every 24 hr's. Now I'm going in for a new surgery on the same knee with 3 partially torn ligaments and 60% of the cartilage gone because it has been so long waiting for a new surgery.
I'm taking roughly 100mg every 24 hr's now to keep the worst pain away.
My Dr also told me that in he opinion I would never be of the meds completely because I've been on them so long and I will still have some pain in the knee.
It didn't take me very long to become addicted to this stuff cause it really makes you feel good.

I used to empty the beads from the green 3mg hydromorph contin into a shot glass and crush them up real fine. Nice and smooth.

If you're opioid naive, 12mgs hydromorphone is far too much for you. If you crush a whole one up and snort it, you might overdose.

Regular dose IV is .5mgs, can start at 1mg oral. 2 is more regular, PO.
