Good evening everyone, I've lurked around here for a long time but now I have a relevant question for the BL masses.

Yes I have utfse and sorted through many pages, I cannot find a clear answer.

I've happened on some Hydromorph Contin 12mgs. What would be a good starting dose for somebody who needs 30-40mgs Oxycontin to get off? I do not use daily, maybe 3-4 times in a month and haven't used since last weekend. Don't want to take too much and puke, know what i mean?

Oh i will be crushing and parachuting with OJ to chase.

plug it, start at 2-4 mg and work ur way up
 
I live in Canada and got alot of 6mg and 12mg Hydromorph-contin, it's way better to snort, juste crush the beed as fine as you can, I would start with 6mg in your case.
 
12 mg of Dilaudid parachuted is a pretty hefty dose - I wouldn't do more than 12 to start, and take 25 of Phenergan first, to both potentiate it and to help with nausea.

Of course there's always a needle (hence my username) - but i get mine in vials ;) - no need to worry about cotton and bunch of prep work.

Seriously, don't start with more than one pill - people in hospital only get 2 and 4mg IR pills - and most claim the 4mgs are way stronger than 20 of oxy (also IR)... You considered railing it? (That's how I like oxy).

No way it'll kill you (parachuting 12 of the Dilaudid), but it'll be stronger than 40 of oxy, bet your ass... :\

Thanks for the replies. Ended up parachuting 6mg and snorting the other 6mg. My girl and I are pretty chewed right about now :-) Those little beads are a pain in the ass to crush though, ended up using a shotglass and the rounded end of a tuning fork!

When I was prescribed IR hydromorphone (chronic pain), I lamented the fact that the body seems to destroy the drug when you take it orally...

.. and then I discovered plugging.

Holy hell, I never looked back.

To plug these do you just do it like any normal pill, or because of the little beads that are so hard to crush is there anything else you need to do to prepare it? Thanks in advance

Im a newbie, Just joined in fact, What does plugging mean ? I've never heard that reference before. LOL..

My doctor just started me on Hydromorph contin 3mg. She said i'll most likely need to be raised in my dosage but she wanted to try me on it first, to see how i would react..

I normally take them as directed, unless im having a severely bad day for pain..

I have Chronic Back pain, from Sciatica, Fibromyalgia, Severe Thecal Stinosis, Herniated disc's and Arthritis.

So it basically hasnt stopped my pain yet, but as i said, Its a low dose..

I was taking Codeine contin 150mg x 4 per day.. But they were killing my stomache.
 
^ Plugging is rectal administration (up your booty) of a drug. Depending on the substance, it can make it stronger than other ROA's.
 
For the sake of HR I'm removig this :) Those things are terrible for getting high with. The first bypass metabolism really cuts the bioavailability of it. Almost imposible toget high off IMO. They are OK for pain but there are better meds out there as oral intake of hydromorphone goes through first past metabolism much the same as morphine.

For the sake of HR I'm removig this :) I'm R'x'd hydromorph-contin and I dont think it's a potent as MSContin at a good dose for long term pain relief. It just doesn't seem to get absroped or something. The peak levels are way below IV levels I guess is the reason.

I love to smash those things though so I put up with the contins.

I think I may be switching to Oxycodone soon as we are talking about it now. Which is OK with me as it is oraly active. Break this IV habbit if I can. As long as she gives me enough breakthrough OxyIR's I'm fine with it. In the past I haven't really found IV Oxy any different than oral, except for time of onset. I don't get a rush from it for some reason. Likely good for me whether I like it or not as it will help me break the cycle if IV.

I stumbled onto this thread ressearching pills and I would just like to add: even if this last post is from february, it is totally wrong, and dangerously misleading (recommending to take 24 mg of hydromorphone for a newbie, etc.). im just being a good (and very bored/high) samaritan
 
is there any way to prep hydromorph-contin 12s for injection. im used to regular 8mg hydromorphone but this is all i can come across since its xmastime

I dont stick it in my ass because im not a drug addict,,im not trying to get high,,im trying to get better. Its people like you that make it difficult for those of us who are truely ill and suffering. You make me sick and you will prob kill someone someday with this "advice".
people with true illness and pain dont go to websites asking how to stick pills in your ass or how to shoot up. Why not go buy some herion,,save yourself the trouble. Stop abusing the health care system,,those of us who really need to see doctors for real reasons could use the appointment time that your using trying to attain more drugs.
I hope you all overdose,,death by sticking pills in your ass...classy ppl,,very classy

Sounds like my back. Hydromorphone didn't do shit for my back pain. I take Opana, it works really well. I also take roxicodone for BT pain. You might want to try that.

I hope the pills your taking put you into complete kidney failure :)

I have a legit reason to get my medication. I also enjoy them recreationally every so often. I think people that are in chronic pain whatever form it might be deserves that escape. I don't care who gets high on what as long as it doesn't interfere with me getting my medication.

lol, dilaudid is stronger than herion err heroin i mean and there are legal opiate suppositories as well as other medications that you 'stick up your ass' because it is an effective route of administration
