Opioids hydrocodone

This is my 2nd time trying hydrocodone (1000mg). the first tmie I took two 500's and threw them up. I felt a nice buzz but got very sick. How would I avoid nausea? I could smoke some "medical" marijuana but I don't like to combine substances. how many of the 1000mg pills should I take im assuming less than last time? last time I broke them in half and then swallowed. was that bad?

1000 mg hydrocodone tablets? are you sure thats not the APAP content? i would advise using google to identify your pill, educate yourself, and maybe edit that question....unless there really are 1000mg hydrocodone, which would be a huge suprise to me

ok, first of all, on the pill bottle, where it says 5/500 or something similar, the bigger number is the amount of acetominophen/paracetemol (tylenol), which is not psychoactive, but is good to avoid taking a lot of, in fact, over 2 grams is not reccomended. I would guess that you have 5/500 or 7.5/500, although the former is more likely.

Anyway:

To reduce nausea, yes, smoking medical marijuana can help. Some people use diphenhydramine (benadryl) to help it. Both substances can potentiate the hydrocodone significantly so make sure that you keep low doses of all drugs involved.

yea I get it backwards sometimes lol I think its 7.5. last time I had 5/500

Yep. The 500 is the acetominophen/paracetamol. You could try only taking one, so the nausea isn't as pronounced or take an antihistamine like diphenhydramine or promethazine. An antihistamine will potentiate the hydrocodone I.e make it stronger.

So I would recommend taking one pill and an antihistamine. And google cold water extraction to learn how to remove the tylenol from the pills as it can be hard on your liver.

^There's no time release, so it really doesn't make a difference if you break them or not...

The pills are meant to disintegrate fairly quickly in the stomach, breaking in half will have no obvious effects.

If you are taking 7.5/500's do your liver a favor and look up how to do a CWE.

They keep lowering the max daily dose of APAP and misuse of pain killers is one of the leading causes of liver failure.

^That's true, that's really the most harmful aspect of abusing Hydrocodone, aside from the addiction itself...arguably. You'll rapidly develop a tolerance, and require doses that will contain a dangerous amount of APAP, if taken without performing a CWE...You're playing with opiates, you're playing with fire....They're all a little bit different, but they're all the same in a few important ways:

Tolerance develops rapidly upon regular usage, and you eventually develop a physical dependence that's more hellish than almost anyone could ever imagine going into it...Be very careful and tread lightly with these types of drugs...
