If the last time you took it you had trouble breathing, then if you take the same amount I would expect you'd still have trouble.

Take less.

How tolerant are you to hydrocodone? Meaning, was last time your first time? If this is your 2nd time ever, stick with 15mgs.

What dose will cause respiratory depression? The one that exceeds your tolerance. You know what you can handle and If 25mg was too much, as you and sekio both said, take less. There's no reason to over-complicate; this there is no magic 'respiratory depression' dose that applies to all people.
