So swim have within the last hour taken 30 ml of novahistex dh which has 30 mg of hydrocodone and 120mg of phenylephrine. So swim dont feel too high or even much of a body buzz and am thinking of taking more but swim not sure if the p stuff will start fucking with swim. what do you guys think. Also swim's a male who weighs about 170lbs with next no tolerance to opiates unless taking 4 times the rec dose of hydromorphone 6 months ago counts.

why do you care so much about someone who isn't even you isn't feeling their hydrocodone...you should also tell this person who isn't you to try using the search feature on bluelight for looking up starting doses of Hydrocodone.

I also reccomend the person who isn't you, and yourself read and go over the links in the big green box at the top of all your bluelight forum pages.

Also yes you did break a rule plus several other easy to follow, and easy to learn and see when you become a new member at Bluelight. You're probably thinking I'm a huge dick right now but what you did was just pure laziness.

I would also like to point out that this is a very helpful website and most of the people are much nicer and more helpful than I seem to be to you right now.
 
Thanks for the welcome to the site, Time was of the essence so I posted quickly. I dont know why noone can just ever aswer a fucking question and the only reason I wrote swim is because I thought the mod was telling me i wasnt supposed to do that. well now I feel even less high and feel hydrocodone is not going to get me high.

Well after reading the green boxes I dont feel I broke any rules because it just said etiquette but I guess I should have just searched. Anyway Im now up to 40 mg of hydrocodone and still feel fine. I give up IM just going to have a couple drinks of my lambs 151 watch some tv and go to bed. I already feel like I have a bad reputation on this site sighhhh.

The mod was just moving your thread to Basic Drug Discussions (BDD) which is the correct forum to get it answered. Bluelight doesn't use swim due to the difficulty reading and most people who post are fucked on drugs with some unfortunate side effects such as being hostile and belligerent (it is fun ;) ) so don't take it personally. Others become enlightened, helpful and empathetic.

As for your question I'm a little surprised that you didn't feel 30mg of hydro. I'm guessing that the phenylephrine's adrenal(?) effect is somewhat canceling out the sedation you are expecting. If you didn't feel any negative upper effects then I'd guess you could up your dosage. I don't think hydrocodone has any contraindications regarding titrating up either.

Thanks amapola and I dont feel nauseous even after 40mg but I dont feel high either. just a slight numb feeling in my arms. funny enough I did have a bit of a caugh before hand so the phen helped that but maybe it messed up the high. also I was drinking oj so maybe the vit c hurt it too.
 
In my expierence, when I first started using opiates such as hydrocodone it took several times of my using the substance for me to really pick up on all the positive mental effects.

The cough you had shouldn't do anything to take away from the recreational effects your're looking for. Also the phenylephrine may be taking away from some of the physical effects.

But with your low tolerance 40mg should be way more than enough to feel a pleasent buzzing of your opioid receptors. Are you sure you added up the X mg per X ml right? Did you misread it?
 
damn i feel bad for you. I took 5mg of hydrocodone and felt something even though it lasted for a very short time. it was my first time taking any drug

The numb feeling in your arms could be vasoconstriction due to the phen which makes me think you might not want to up your dosage anymore. The cough you had was actually stopped by the hydrocodone which is a powerful antitussive like most opiates, the phen would probably be for nasal or allergy type symptoms.

There doesn't seem any good way to get around the Phenylephrine content.

A good thing is it is purported not to produce any major negative side effects in oral dosing, except in values much greater than prescribed i.e. >120mg :S

The only thing I can think of is dissolving your drug syrup in some water, then bassify it with some NaOH which should grab the bitartrate and I believe the hydrocodone base might precipitate out? I dunno though.

So I was wondering if there is any way to extract the hydro so I can just take the hydro instead of the other bullshit. if there is I will probably do 45-50mg because 40mg last time when I was still drinking the liquid didnt have a very long euporic time period( about 15-20 minutes followed by general dizzness for the rest of the night) which isnt so bad but Id rather just do the hydro if there is a way. thanks for your help.
