Is there anything you can take that will make you feel the affects of hydrocodone stronger?

For example, xananx and grapefruit juice?

You could try potentiating with an anti-histamine, such as diphenhydramine or hydroxyzine. They do not enhance the high, just the sedation really.

Grapefruit juice also works good with hydrocodone.

From my experience diphenhydramine works pretty good.

Stay away from benzos, antihistamines and sedatives if you don't enjoy drowsiness or the "nod" effect of opiates.

I prefer a small hit of pot, but not so much that it overshadows the hydro's effects. Caffeine and propylhexedrine are great for giving it that energetic edge and are a must-have for me when I do hydrocodone or other opiates. Taking them on an empty stomach also greatly increases the potency of the high. I like to break mine in half or let them dissolve in my mouth a bit so the high is more intense. Tonic water, which contains quinine, is known to be an opiate potentiator as well.

Took the words right out of my mouth

But really you should use the search engine next time, there are plenty of threads on opiate potenators.

this is very true....

everyone should use the search button more.....

a nice tall glass of freshly squeezed grapefruite juice (i was never into the health food drinks, lol) increases the "RUSH" effect of hydrocodone to near huh? wtf! is happening!!! type of levels... the rush is so strong i am amazed. it makes 2 hydros feel like 4.

benzos and alcohol potentiate the sedation and euphoria, but this can be dangerous if your overdo the doses.

hydroxyzine and diphenhydramine potientiate opiates through liver enzyme inhibition(increasing drug levels), as well as adding to the sedation and getting rid of the itching.

grapefruit juice potientiate opiates through liver enzyme inhibition(increased drug levels).

low doses of amphetamine, methylphenidate, and other dopamine increasing stimulants increase euphoria as opiates increase dopamine as well. this leads to a synergistic "speedball" effect. stimulants also offset sedation produced by opiates.
