Hydrocodone Woes..

yep alkaloids, opiates in particular are extremely bitter. powerful flavor. i was serious when i told the story abotu eating fresh poppies......cause its one of my favorite past times, and they are so bitter you wont believe it. it really starts to sting and burn............ah but its such a good bitter cause all the sudden your nodding off through the clouds

Ok I concede. I didn't taste a vicoden before posting this statement, and i couldn't differentiate from memory the difference in taste between vicoden and a normal tylenol pill. I know heroin has a very bitter taste, but I always figured the taste of vicoden was a result of the APAP. Guess I was wrong.

yeah hydros one of the nicest highs there is, my only prblem wiht it is that its jsut too damn fucking short lived. its like the xanax, or the crack of opiates. hits hard as a mother fucker, really fast, but you come down real quick. thats why i prefer pst, maybe wiht some hydro thrown in there too. i just have to have a long acting drug. i hate short acting drugs.

that only happens when you have a tolerance, ive gotten 6 hour long highs from hydrocodone. codiene on the other hand, is very short lived.
 
well to me even 6 hours is way too short. course, i have chronic pain as well. i just prefer to be nodding for 2 days straight, rather than come down in 2-4 hours. god they are a killer high though. get some of the syrup and gzzle a ton of it....it will hit you like a brick wall of bbeautiful clouds. oh and by the way, weed always makes my high last longer

i have about 10 vicodin i am saving til i get some ginger to try and help with the nausea. but my source for opiates died so these are the last i can get and i dont really know how to go about finding a new source (most people charge insane prices for hydrocodone around here).
 
When KTX posts about opiates, its worth listening to. S/he knows every detail of every opiate known to man. Ask the guy/lady, s/he's kind & generous. If you PM him/her with your questions, I'm certain s/he will respond as fully as possible. KTX is a very useful source. I think that when it comes to the details of drugs there are maybe a dozen people and s/he is one of them.
 
i find the best cure for any nausea is herb. not to mention that it feels so incredibly good and synergetic with opiates anyways. try that it works way better than ginger.

cause i think u are more knowledgable than i am; even if i have some differences in opinion when it comes to some of your posts.

anyways thanks if you were being serious but honestly you probally are a better source of opiate-info than myself :D especially that synthesis shit lol

I was being serious! You know every detail of opiates! Sure, I know synths but you know what the effects of every opiate which is what is needed on this board.
 
If i know i am going to do some opiates i don't eat ANYTHING before i dose, whether i am dosing at 10AM or 4PM. I also don't eat anbything for at least 2 hrs after i dose. Just water. NBo suagry juices or sodas...just filtered water. I also don't eat anything heavy in fats the night before the day i am going to dose. Probably overkill, but hey, it does seem to matter.

I have neeer really liked hydros. Not a very soothing high...kinda like a bad caffiene vibe mixed with the opiate effect, which is totally contrary.

this is SO important atleast IMO, when taking opiates orally(namely oxycodone for me).

really, when i say NO food or calorie-heavy drinks for 4-5 hours i mean it! and i too, do not eat for 2-3 hours after dosing! helps curb the munchies too!

ive noticed that sometimes when taking an opiate on an empty stomach it doesnt even feel like its "Hits" me until i actually eat a full meal. mabye its just me, but eating brings back my high a little as well. mabye im just wierd.
 
yes it brings back the nod-part of the high especially if i eat after smoking some herb but ive never noticed it actually help in any noticeable fashion.

as i said to another poster, everyone has their little routines/quirks when taking opiates especially orally, and i do not doubt what works for other because even if i try it, i havent been doing it everytime like they do so its not fair to judge. ie. i would say that eating with ur hydrocodone is total bogus but if you havent gotten diminished effects who am i to say?
 
ive gone 36 hour highs on hydrocodone thats after the last dose... ithcing constricted pupils, euporia not giving a shit the works i drink a shit ton of gf smoke out alot and have tons of benzos
