Hydrocodone Woes..

Key word eventually.

If you just swallow the damn pills, it all absorbs into your stomach quickly.

As far as 22.5 milligrams not getting you high, go read all the Erowid reports for hydrocodone, not a single person who didn't have a tolerance didn't get high from 22.5 milligrams.

80 milligrams of hydrocodone without a tolerance is an insane amount of hydrocodone.

90% of people who don't regularly use will vomit from 80 milligrams of time released OxyContin, and that is when it is time released.

ive taken 22.5 mg before with no tolerance and not gotten high, just felt relaxed/a little dizzy. ive also taken 15 mg with no tolerance and gotten "high" although it took me more like 25-40 mg to really get high. i guess it depends on what you mean by high though, if you mean high as a kite then at least 30 mg, if you mean a very pleasant mood lift and body buzz than as little as 10-15 can do the trick.
 
I guess it is different for everyone.

40 milligrams is way too much for me, I have to struggle not to vomit if I take 40 milligrams, and I get way too dizzy.

well hydrocodone is ridiculously unpredictable for me. ive had times where i took 10 mg and literally felt incapacitating nausea for 12 hours. the time i took 40 mg i got high as a kite and hardly had a stomach upset at all. i never know what to expect when i take it.
 
It has to be different for everybody.

I have some experiance with opiates. I have done a few different opiates- never in huge amounts, and it hasn't been for months so there really is no reason for me to have a tolerance since it's been awhile since I have messed with them. Its just that god damn natural tolerance- which I am not sure if I even have. Its possible that hydros just affect me differently- because crushing up a oxy 40 will have me feeling excellent, while 37 mg of hydro had me feeling borderline "ok/good".
 
*Post-edit* Ok going by all the replies, apparently the nasty taste of vidoden is a result of the hydrocodone, and not the tylenol. I'm a dumb fuck.

Wrong. What you are tasting is mainly the opiate. Opiates have a very strong bitter taste even in very small amounts. Go chew up a tylenol...it tastes nothing like that.
 
overdriven is absolutely right. i wouldnt say something if i didnt know it was correct ;) honestly a tylenol taste nothing like that. ever eaten a fresh poppy? they are so bitter they start to burn your mouth a little even. bitter means more alkaloids
 
hes refering to parachuting which means swallowing the paper. i have no desire to do that but alot of people seem to like it jsut fine. i just dont mind the taste of drugs. i like the taste of drugs.
 
because they powder teh drug, they cant stand to want to taste it, so they wrap in up in some thinish paper and swallow that with a bunch of liquid. i dont eat paper and dont want to so im with yoiu.......why would you eat paper?!?!? lol

well i decided to test this out. i just chewed up a tylenol extra strengh and there was hardly any bitterness, certainly nothing compared to what i remember from chewing vicodin. i then went and licked a vicodin (didn't want to actually chew it up because i dont want to take my vicodin right now) and there was a pronounced bitterness. i find this fascinating, is hydrocodone really THAT bitter that only 5 mg mixed in with 500 mg of tylenol can change the flavor of the pill that drastically? surprising to say the least. i can't even imagine how bitter pure hydrocodone would taste.

Yeah its very bitter stuff. I could probably pick out the taste of an opiate in a blind test with other bitter substances. Its very distinct.

To those asking about parachuting...I think its harder to swallow a wad of paper than to just taste the drug. I usually crush it up, add a little water in a shot glass, mix well and slam it just like a shot of liquor. If you can take a shot of alcohol, you can easily handle a shot of opiates.
