Hydrocodone vs Oxycodone comparisons/opinions

I know there are other threads similar to this one in the past but I want to bring up some more specific questions and I always enjoy hearing more perspectives.

Which opiate do you prefer taking, given that you are having equivalent doses (oxy is 1.5x strong by weight) ?

Does anyone notice that hydrocodone gives more of an overall body high while oxycodone is very much in the head and gives more of a light headed feeling?
For me hydrocodone is very much a body high and I am ten times more likely to nod out and stay nodding without moving. Also, I get the most enjoyable feeling in my stomach as if it is warm, fuzzy, and glowing on the inside..it's so damn satisfying.

Which one gives you more euphoria?
I've had times where oxy has made me euphoric and other times where I just feel irritable and almost depressed. Hydrocodone always makes me feel amazing.

The bottom line is that hydrocodone makes me feel beyond heavenly always but not too many people prefer hydro over oxy. What are your opinions and which do you prefer and why? Name the pros and cons of both

The consensus around here seems to be that hydro is more sedating, while oxy is more stimulating (as far as opiates go)

Personally I prefer oxycodone.

We don't have hydrocodone in Belgium. I think I would like it a great deal. But I absolutely love oxy, so I don't know if I'd like it more.

I consider tilidine to be the hydrocodone of Belgium, and without a tolerance that can be a great opioid as well. Once you get some tolerance, well, the naloxone in it will prevent you from upping your dose as your tolerance goes up. It's actually a pretty foolproof system IMO. You can get high off it for maybe 3 days in a row, after that, nothing. While using it as prescribed provides adequate pain relief pretty consistently. Reminds me of those oxycodone tablets that have huge doses of naloxone in them (I forget the name). They're also abusable, but only orally and not for long before tolerance kills the fun.

I haven't taken all that much hydro, so my experience is limited. However, I currently I kind of have an unlimited supply of oxy, and from what I have done, I'll take oxy everyday! Like others have said, it (oxy) kind of gives you that buzzed feeling. Personally I need to take way more than an equivalent dose to "get off" on hydro. The problem is that even though I do seem to get more of a body high, it also makes be feel sort of thick (see: Jethro Tull "Thick as a Brick"). Just to be half-way normal, I need some kind of stimulant or I'd be flat on my back. I really prefer to be "up" than "thick" but that's just me.
