Hydrocodone + Tramadol

My normal dose of tramadol that I use to get a good buzz is about 250-300mg. And my normal dose of hydrocodone is 20-25mg. I only take these a couple times a month at most. So my question is that when combining these 2 drugs, should the doses be lowered? Or would mixing 300mg tram with 25mg hydro be just as safe as taking them separately?

I would take the hydro about an hour after taking the tram.

And if I should cut the doses some, would 200mg and 15-20mg hydro be safer?

(This isn't a dosage question. I want to know if they potentate each other)
 
Lowering the dose would be the best move, tramadol (or more precisely it's metabolite) has opioid receptor activity and it could possibly make you ill or worse if you take too much. The lowered dose sounds good to me.
 
Trying to get high off of tramadol is like trying to make an elephant into a kite.

it might seem like a great idea. and it might be fun for 5 minutes but you are just wasting your time lol

just get 50mg of hydrocodone and have a better time without issues tramadol has (being an opiate-like substance.. it isnt even a true opiate)
 
Umm a lot of people don't feel anything from tramadol. But some people do. So there's no reason to think that just because it doesn't work for you that its complete shit.

For me it gives me about a 8-10 hour very light body high, but it also makes me very happy and chilled and can sometimes make me nod a bit. But I wanted to mix this with hydro because I would like the body high mixed with the nice mental high of tram.
 
I'm aware that you probably don't want to hear this but it's probably something you should know:

You need to lower the amount of Tramadol you are taking IF you start dosing multiple times in a day. 200-300 mg is much more than you should be taking. At that dosage it can cause seizures in some people. I'd hate to see you be one of the unlucky ones. Slurring your words and losing motor functions doesn't seem worth the high that Tramadol gives.

Just my 2 cents. 200-300mg is a fairly safe dose. I just wanted you to know that doses higher than that or multiple doses during a day can and has caused seizures.
 
I wouldn't take hydrocodone AND tramadol together, as tramadol seems to have a higher binding affinity to certain key opioid receptors than hydrocodone when they are taken together. The hydros will wear off and almost certainly leave you with only the tram buzz. Which in my humble opinion is much better than hydrocodone's buzz anyday. YMMV.
 
I'm in the smaller-percentage bracket. I get hardcore, long-lasting euphoria from tramadol. I would literally rather have tramadol than heroin. No fucking joke.
 
i would also say just take more hydroco

but you seem to like your tram....so lower it to 200mg, and take more hydro......


also to above poster.....your a lucky sob.....but have you smoked or shoot dope?
 
ya i get pretty good effects and have had great experiences on trams. broke my ankle once and got a bottle and had a ton of fun (how i got introduced to tramadol). I would say maybe lower the trams to 200 and whatever hydro dose you were planning. be safe and have funn!=D

Dude, I'm not dicksizing...but I've done everything, and I have to say - the longest-lasting opiate/opioid addiction I've ever had was with tramadol. I mean, I'm an ex-hardcore junkie. Tramadol is the only painkiller that I couldn't get off of...I literally considered either suicide or methadone/suboxone. I thought I was going to die. So much fucking tramadol, it was ridiculous.
 
My ex opioid addiction was to OxyContin, and fentanyl. Roughly 240mg OC a day, plus around 800mcg - 1600mcg fentanyl (Actiq lollipops). That wasn't as hardcore or addictive as tramadol to me, though. I'm one of the few who can get serious euphoria from trams. I don't know if that makes me lucky or extremely unlucky, though... :/

I have the fattest ass kite, then because I took 150mg of tramadol about an hour ago and I'm fucking flying! I have been getting high off of tramadol since 2003.

I go to work in about an hour and a half (it's my first day to work...so glad I finally found a job again!) and I'm sure I'll be kicking ass due to tram.
