Hi everyone. I have been reading Blulight for a long time now. This is my 1st post.
I have been using Hydrocodone regularly for close to 2 years now. Here is my question. I was maybe using using 30mg a day up until a month a ago then all of a sudden it went to 60-70mg a day and felt like it happened overnight that my tolerance boosted. Anybody else have this happen to them? Is it commom to jump so fast? Thanks for any responses.

Two years is a pretty long time to be using opiates, I am surprised that your tolerance is as low as it is.. Tolerance sky rockets pretty quickly, especially if you are taking them in order to get high. You start to chase the high, so the dose required goes up quicker and quicker. People who take opiates legitimately for pain, can usually sustain on the same dose for years, since they are not using it to chase a high.

Well i started on them prescribed for pain from a accident i was in really never took more than prescribed. Then after i would just take a few at night to relax and continued that for a year or more. Then recently added another in the morning so was up to 3-4 10's a day. Then like i said a month ago it turned to 2-3 10's in the morning and 2-3 10's at night. I dont take throughout the day continuously. Just seemed odd that i could tell it wasnt a few month deal where it gradually raised it was like overnight that i went from 1 10mg to 3 10mg at a time.

Well, you started using in the morning, and you had already accustomed yourself to 20 mg to 30 mg at night, so maybe you felt the desire to up your morning dose to match it.
