Hydrocodone/seeing things?

Okay i am prescribed Hydrocodone .5mg for my past surgery i had on my feet(i was born with clubb feet) well i am only suppose to take 1/2 a pill twice a day.
This afternoon I took 9 of them and by the 3 hours later they were fucking kicking my ass!!!! :D but I was seeing some mad shit like doors slamming open when no one was around and candles flying across my room! I was just wondering if Hydrocodone makes you hallucinate(sp)? That shit scared the crap out of me!!! HAHAHA well sorry just found out that the hydros were 5/500 APAP not .5 mg!

Surely you're kidding. Hydrocodone comes in 5, 7.5, 10 and 15mg pills, usually with APAP. It's not really strong enough to make you hallucinate. 20mg+ gives you a little high though. 9 pills is up to 5850mg of acetominophen which is NOT good.

Ayrois= okay sorry i was just guessing about the mg stuff the bottle said 50/500 i assumed it was .5 mg do you know how much it is? is it 5mg or 50mg?

You sure it wasn't 5mg HC and 500 maybe acetominophen? Sounds more likely to me. 45mg is a big dose for no opiate tolerance though...
 
Well, you can hallucinate off of high doses of more powerful opiates... I dunno if 45mg of HC is enough though. Guess it's possible.
 
Could it be a typo? It probably is really 5mg. I've never heard of more than 15mg in one pill. The APAP is acetominophen aka tylenol. You don't want 4.5g of that stuff in you, it's very bad for your liver. Can be fatal in higher doses...
 
Either way, the amount of APAP you ingested was not healthy, and needless to say, not smart.

It must be 5/500s, there's no such thing as a 50mg hydrocodone pill (obviously). And nine of those would 4500mg of acetaminophen, which will probably be no problem at all if you just do it once in awhile. If you plan on eating this many Vicodins regularly you might want to invest some time into cold water extractions (http://www.coldwaterworld.com/) or invest some money in some Vicodin HPs since they have more of the good stuff and less tylenol junk.

yeah they are 5/500 APAP but yeah i am not wanting to take them all the time just every now and then! even though i am suppose to take 1/2 of one twice a day if i have pain. so i will save them!!!hehehehehe

correct me if im wrong but 4.5g of apap couldnt be that hard on your liver even for a couple doses.
