look what i found at the Shroomery...
hydrocodone (vicodin) is stronger than oxycodone (percs, etc)... not by very much at all, but if you put them on a scale hydro is about 1.1 and oxy is about 1.0
now i know this is not true but somebody help me out...i wanna correct em but i just don't have the references or experience...

100mg hydrocodone (oral) is basically equivalent to 66.67mg oxycodone (oral).
Therefore oxy's effects are stronger.

There will be a lot of people who disagree with me, but from my own experiences, say you compare a 40mg dose of hyrdocodone with a 40mg dose of oxycodone, and the oxy wins hands down. Vicodin can be fun, but doesn't give me a floored feeling. Oxycontin, Percocet (or whatever other source of oxy you use) just gives a much better high.

Though I can't get my hands on these goodies enough to offer an "expert" opinion, I prefer hydrocodone to oxycodone, the hyrdo has a better euphoria to me. This is taken orally, never blown or bang any of these puppies.
Which leads me to my next question, as I understand it oxy is CII and hyrdo is CIII, correct? If so, why is that the case? Seems they should both fall in the same schedule. Or am I just overlooking something dumb?

They're both CII but pills with less than 15mg hydro are "officially" considered CIII.

For sometime they have been fighting to bump ANY hydrocodone preperation into schedule II, however, it keeps getting shot down.. the law states that BOTH hydrocodone and oxycodone are C-II drugs, except a preperation that contains hydrocodne and a certin amount of other stuff (APAP, asprin, ibuprofen, etc..) is C-III .. but if you go to a compounding pharmacy with a script for 20mg hydrocodone caps, that is C-II .. hell, codeine is a C-II drug in it's raw form..
