I recently took a 15mg dose of hydrocodone, I tried it twice and both times I felt no effects. Due to the hydrocodone to acetaminophen ratio, I can't go higher than 15mg. What could be wrong? Does anyone else have the same problem? Help? Thanks for your responses in advance!!

you might just have a naturally high tolerance. There are other factors like if you are taking it on a full or empty stomach and probably more that I am too lazy to write down. why is 1500mg (I'm assuming) of apap too much, does your body have problems with acetaminophen? if not you can take up to 4000mg In a day without harm, you probably would have problems with it if you did it everyday but as long as it's once or twice a week you are fine.

Also make sure they are actually hydrocodone pills, check the letters and numbers on both sides of the pill and type it into google. sometimes there can be mix ups like people using a vicodin pill bottle for other pills, dealers ripping you off, things like that, it's always a possibility.

I'm assuming you're using it to get high & not for pain?

Lots of people have s natural high tolerance & this is the reason most likely why you don't feel anything........

I myself am sensitive to pain meds & 5mgs after eating breakfast had me flying high.

Read about the CWE (cold water extraction) on this site & learn how to remove the Tylenol from hydrocodone if you plan on taking more than 1,000mgs at once. Tylenol is okay taking it once in a while for headaches or a fever but its poison when you take too much of it.
