Opioids Hydrocodone Drug Testing

Hello,
I have recently taken 50mg hydrocodone and may have to take a drug test soon. I would be taking the test at a military base, and I believe they test for opiates, although I am not sure if they screen for more than morphine.
Is hydrocodone generally tested for?

Also, is their anything I can do to reduce the impact of the APAP I have ingested? I just obtained the 7.5/750 pills today, and have not yet gotten a chance to perform a CWA.

yes, would show as opiate. drink as much water as possible and pray.

it will be in your system 3-5 days to play it safe. typically they say 2-3 but I've failed later than that myself; so drink as much waster as you can, piss as much as you can, and get away from the hydrocodone asap.
 
Also, I should mention that I ingested 5,250mg of acetaminophen. I have a healthy liver and do not drink. I initially thought the pills were 500mg each, rather than 750.
I will not be taking any more APAP, but should I be concerned?
 
they are 7.5's. and yes, you should be worried if testing is tomorrow. you will fail for opiate abuse. they test for opiates, not a particular type of opiate, as if others are OK. they will be OK w/ you on HEROIN but no Morphine you are saying? you are OK to use Percs but not Oxycontin? think a bit, man. read what you are asking.
 
well, hydrocodone, heroin, and oxycontin all have separate metabolites.
I am primarily looking for an answer in regards to the specific test I will be taking.
I would also like to be referred to sources, since there is a lot of misinformation on drug tests out there.
Regardless, I will be drinking a large amount of water with B12, Niacin, and Creatine prior to the test, and the test is simply for my councilor, and it is not a huge deal if I fail.
 
dude, they are an opiate. your GENERAL 5 panel test will test for opiates. that is ALWAYS SOMETHING you are getting tested for in any drug panel; esp. because it's one of the most abused substances in the world. just dope all goes well and you dont fail; when is the test?

a 5 panel test is generic; from there they only get harder and harder; so I doubt they are giving you anything less than what I originally mentioned unless they only want to test for weed or some shit. you ate an opiate, and opiate is in your body, therefore you will test positive for an opiate. it doesnt get more straight forward than that.

I've done lots and lots of drug test throughout life; I kinda have an idea.

The night before I did the physical for the military I spent in my hotel room smoking oxycodone 30 mg off foil. I passed the test no problem, as I understand oxycodone will not trip a drug test for opiates unless it is specifically tested for. Hydro condone on the other hand will show up on the standard 5 panel test for opiates. This is to the best of my knowledge I remember researching it pretty extensively in 09' when I thought about joining.
 
at my outpatient program i get a 10 panel and it would definetly fail for hydros so i can only imagine what the military tests for. and even on a 5 panel you would fail. wheteher its hydro, oxy, morphine, dope or whatever you will fail. the only ones you would get by with is methadone and subs. subs require there own tests and methadone can be tested on a 12 panel. im sure the military gives you the 15 panel or something like that. in other words you're most definetly fucked. you might as well eat your hydros and enjoy them cuz you're not gonna pass.

edit: maybe im wrong about the oxy but i definetly know oxy is tested on a 10 panel cuz i saw my results on the computer once and it says positive for oxycodone and i know its a 10 panel
 
i use to use all the time while enlisted.. mostly vics and percs.. mostly they only test a few samples and if one pops they test the whole batch..
