Rookie here. Okay so researched and didn't seem to get an answer. First time taking vicodin soon and a little nervous about it. Any suggestions for a good starting dose for a night out for a female, 5"3 and 103 lbs (47kg)

Thank you

15-20mg. Up to 30mg tops. More than 30 might make you fall out if youre not tolerant to opiates so id stay between 15-25mg tops if i were you

You're pretty tiny, just a little bigger than my gf, and 10mg is enough to have her pretty loopy. If you're just trying to feel it than 5-10mg is probably enough, 15-20 is gonna have on-the-couch fucked up most likely. Vicodin/hydrocodone also has a tendency to make people nauseous at higher doses, so going past 20, especially your first time, might just make you sicker without higher.

Make sure to look up cold water extraction (CWE) if you were thinking of eating a bunch of pills at once.

i think 30 might be a bit high with no tolerance and 100lbs. i would just take 10-20mg and see how u feel. you can always take more but not less. you dont want to spend your time yacking cuz you took too much. no need for CWE at 20mg really.

Ah...I remember when I lost my opiate cherry....The most incredible experience I have ever had in my entire life, bar none. That was 15 mg (and on an empty stomach)

Try 10 mg first. Wait AT LEAST 1 hour before adding any more, and if you do, no more than 10 mg. I wouldn't redose after that. For a first timer, that is plenty. No need for CWE for that dose.

7.5m-15mg would be what I would start with in your case. When I weighed that much, I could feel a mild buzz from even 5mg but 7.5-10 would be a nice time.

If you haven't taken opiates you don't know how they will affect you. Therefore, because of the propensity for people to get nausea from opiates, I would try taking a low dose, and make sure you feel okay then titrate yourself up from there.

I would agree with the above poster and not exceed 10mg until you know fully how it affected you. Then, the next day you will have a solid experience to base your next dose off.
