Opioids Hydrocodone constipation

I'm full of shit. No joke lol I receive 180 generic Norco 10-325 among other things by my Dr. and I've searched for stool softeners, but none of the stores I go to have them (Small town) and here's where it's mostly bothering me; About 2 inches above my belly button I feel the shit and it HURTS. My asshole hurts and when I wiped myself to see if anything came out, there was blood. Not a lot, it's like my asshole dried up very badly and the skin cracked.

No Ducolax or Ex-Lax here, What do I do?!?

I use senna and glycerin suppositories when it gets as bad as you have just mentioned. Does your town not have a pharmacy? Ask the pharmacist, they should have them, if not out front then behind the counter.

Why did't you ask your doctor for something? There are a bunch of past threads on here with a ton of good information on this topic. If you cant get your hands on any laxatives or stool softeners, skip a couple doses of the hydro and down tons of water. Also increase your daily fiber intake. In the morning like i said skip your dose and drink a few cups of coffee. If you're going to be on the hydrocodone for awhile you'll need to make some diet changes or this will be an ongoing problem. Also make sure when you DO get the urge to take advantage cause it'll pass quickly.

worst case scenario you could use an enema, hydrocodone used to give me HORRIBLE constipation, along with morphine, those two drugs are wayyy worse than oxy or fent or anything else as far as constipation goes.

Maybe try miralax, or another med that doesn't only soften your stool but also regulates your pooping schedule (idk what else to call it lol)
also as others said increase your fiber intake.
make sure you drink ALOT of water, one of the reasons opiates make you constipated and you get those painful, hard poops is because it slows down your muscular movements in your bowels, which causes your waste to sit in your intestines longer, which causes it to remove more water from your poop.
