Hydrocodone Cigarettes and vomiting

I keep having this problem while I'm on hydrocodone I want to have a smoke but usually right after I finish my cigarette I vomit.Is there any way to keep myself from vomiting other than refraining from smoking at all ? Also my body temperature feels high while I'm using hydrocodone is there some way I could bring it down or a best way to do so ?

Your body temp is actually lower.

When you do opiates, you blood vessels expand from all of the histamine release, all that blood rushing close to your skin is felt as heat. Just like women having hot-flashes.

The nausea is coming from your endorphins potentating the opiates in your system, or you are dosing too high in either the opiate or your nicotine consumption.

ok how could I make my body temperature more to my liking or be able to have a cigarette with either less nausea or not vomiting ?

Your body is always going to react that way to opiates. It is part of the experience.
Do a little less and see what happens.

That is where the warmth of opiates come from. Most enjoy this as that can be a gauge if you got a good amount.

Try eating solids after you get high. Smoke less as well, no real need to chain smoke.

Would Hydroxyzine aka Vistaril, Atarax help with opiate itches?

a low dose of diphenhydramine always cured my opiate itches. put some moisturizer on, it seems to take the itch away a bit too.

and as for the cigarettes they were always awesome for me on opiates. i only puked when i did a bit too much.

yes hydroxyzine helps with itching. It can also add a little to the sedative effects of opiates.

Take less. If you're a fairly regular smoker and having a cigarette while on hydrocodone makes you puke, then you're taking too much hydrocodone in my opinion. Only when I took too much opioids or smoked way too many cigarettes while high on opioids would I throw up.

nailed it right on the head.
also if I drank too much liquid I'd get nauseous feelings move around in my stomach. smoke less, do less opioids, or just throw up and feel the "ahhhh" after a good puke.
