Hydrocodone and phenibut

I went in to the dentist's office with a pretty severe toothache, and left with an antibiotic and fifteen 7.5/325 generic Norco tablets. I abstained from the antibiotic for the first day, and took two of hydrocodone tabs. (I currently have no opiate tolerance.)

I felt some relief from the pain after an hour after ingestion. However, I did not experience any of the characteristic euphoria that I associate with hydrocodone preparations.

The next day, I took one antibiotic dose in the morning, and about three hours later I took two Norcos (with two Tums an hour beforehand).

I experienced even less pain relief, no high, and some nausea (with no vomiting).

Also, I am in the midst of a phenibut dependency. I took about 6 g of phenibut in the mornings of both days. It seemed like, during the onset of the 15 mg of hydrocodone, the phenibut effects, with which I am very familiar, were lessened.

I have had a successful hydrocodone high in the past on a similar dose, but without the phenibut.

My questions are: could the phenibut be masking the euphoric effects of the Norcos (or vice versa)? Why has there been little to no pain relief?

The next time I dose, should I take three Norcos, 22.5 mg of hydro? (this would be in a couple of days, to reset tolerance.)

Exactly how long does it take for a tolerance to hydrocodone to develop?

Thank you all!
