Opioids Hydrocodone and Constipation

I used the search option, but i didnt quite find the answers that I was looking for. Ive been taking Hydorcodone for a while and have been taking laxatives; but I was wondering if there was anything else, or anything in particular, that would give me a bit more relief than taking ex-lax or something every day. Thanks for the help!
 
Stool softeners, enemas, suppositories, are some other OTC remedies. I had this problem om mthhadone REAL bad. Also it is highly depended on what you eat that day. Fiber is bad AFTEr you're already constipated, but a diet high in fibre is ccertainly beneficia.

There have been tons of threads on this topic.

-Drink lots of water.
-Eat healthy all the time, not just when you're constipated.
-Drink more water.
-Exercise really helps too.

-Coffee helps, wait a bit longer before your usual dose, drink a cup of coffee and then wait (be close to a toilet).
