Opioids Hydrocodone 7.5/325 Come Down Help/Questions

So I'm 150 LBs and I was Prescribed a 60 count of hydrocodone 7.5/325 and when I took 3 last time I noticed that I had a massive headache, irritable, tired all day long the day after ( I took 3 orally at 10pm) the headache was bad. Why is this? Can I alleviate any how to prevent the headache and still be able to take 3 pills cause that's the perfect feeling for me when I do take 3. Also I just took 3 tonight again to test it out to see if it's really the three pills that does it, I took 2 at 8 and .5 at 9 and another .5 at 10 pm. I have taken 2 but I didn't have a headache just tired the next morning. I have taken the, in the past but only 2-3 months ago and that was maybe like 3-4x

The comedown for Hydrocodone for me was very irritable and lethargic. As for the "massive headache", I'd talk to your doctor who is scripting you these meds as the purpose of them is to relieve pain.

For clarification, you're talking about a headache during the effects of the drug or after?
 
Try and google "opiate rebound headache". It's not that uncommon when you over-use them.
 
Ok Thanks ! :) Ya Im not gonna get another refill as I don't wanna be addicted or anything I have them for my congenital back condition and take them on Really Painful Days (Even tho Im supposed to take 1 Pill 3x a day) or when Im bored and am staying at home safe and sound Ill take 2-3 . I Just am confused as to why I had these headaches!! Maybe its the factor of it drying out the water making you thirsty and Im not drinking enough, who knows
 
yeah i've had similar effects. you should def talk to your doctor about it and see if there's a better fit for you
 
Stop taking them. They will eventually lead you down a path of becoming dependent on them.
 
Yes, you dosed TOO much.

If you're new to opiates, 5-7.5mg of Hydrocodone should make you feel GOOD and take all the pain away, you took 3x more than you needed, taking too much of any opiate will get you sick.

Be careful with the addiction potential. I'm a current addict and started with exactly what you have, Hydrocodone. Went from Hydro, to Oxy, To Heroin, now im on methadone. All that in 8 years.

I don't notice anything besides my pain from RA coming back when my Oxycodone wears off unless I'm on an ER at the same time.
