Opioids Hycodan cough syrup

A week ago I got this terrible cold/flu. My nose was stuffed, my chest congested, I had difficulty breathing, wheezing and a non-stop cough.
So I went to see my E.N.T. Specialist (ears nose and throath). He said It was bronchitis have me powerful anti-biotics for ten days, corticosteroids (a shot of 20mg. Depo-Medrol and three days of high dose prednisone for the inflammation. The best part was this cough syrup each teaspoonful had 5. Mg. hydrocodone and a small amount of homatropine to dry my throat. Taking a teaspoon of this medicine every 4 hours gave me an excellent high, it's better than Vicodin.


The syrup up is called Hycodan anyone else have expierience with it?

Yes I agree, very nice buzz. If I'm not mistaken it also contains homatropine which will contribute a little to your high as a potentiator.

Hydrocodone is the narcotic that's in Vicodin. There are lots of threads on various formulations of hydrocodone.

Homatropine is a compound related to atropine that has fewer central effects, because as a charged quaternary ammonium compound, it doesn't cross the blood brain barrier. It will dry your mucous membranes but not much else.
Anecdotal evidence points to it being essentially worthless for "preventing abuse". Unlike atropine or scopolamine it will not drive you delerious.
