did you or anyone else see that old 80s anime the Fantastic Adventures of Unico? Where the evil baron drugs the squirrels and their eyes start glowing florescent? I loved the hell outta that movie as a kid, but now i realize it was pretty damn messed up in so many ways, lol.

you got surrounded by 8 deers ? :D That's a priveledge you know ? Jesus, they usually dont let humans get within a 100m of them, i once caught a glimpse of one on holiday in the Scotish Highlands. I think most woodland mammals are cute. I wont mention the obvious carnivore exceptions in case it freaks you out lol ! But i have a lot of respect for them too.

I got told off for scaring my little sister talking about these creatures. My Uncles did the same thing to me, so i was just handing down the not very nice tradition, that was a bit mean of me, looking back, but i was only a kid.
