being human
Or worse by thinking
We're alright?
Are we engaged in an
invisible war between
what makes us tick
and what makes us work?
Is the battle human and
machine?
Or is it arrogance and
humility?
Are we the best to rule?
Or are we the best to serve?
Are we not creating our
own human machines?
Each cog fallible, yet merciful
and/or cruel?
Neither merciful xor cruel would
save us from our humanity.
