I live on the east coast of the US, and I've never seen black tar heroin... like, ever... but, actually, I have some poppy-grower friends who give me some of their opium gross each season and if BTH is ANYTHING like crude opium I can completely see your point. That is, it'd be a *mess*!

I've heard from people that snort tar that they spread it out as thinly as possible on a plain glass plate (no print or anything for it to get caught on) and then opening up some dormin pills (diphenhydramine, so you could use benadryl, because Dormin is usually only found in "ghettos"), and then scraping it around with a razorblade until its a brown powder that can easily be snorted. this might take some time though, so if you're going to be quick, the snorting waterlines of it is your best bet.

but really, if you're gonna be an IV drug user, you need to learn to do it yourself. thats just how it is.

a reason to learn because my husbands always

oh, nobody really plans on being an IV drug user. but, really, if you're gonna be a drug user, it'd be beneficial to you to learn how to shoot.

just wait until your hubby isn't there, but someone else is that can shoot and you ask them to shoot you up and then they ask for a little bump of your dope for them doing that for you. you really won't wanna do it. I've been there, thats why I learned. so I didn't have to give away anymore of my drugs that I couldn't really afford for myself.

I know it sucks, but the easiest place, and the place you'd have the most success in is the crook of your arm. but you shouldn't leave any noticeable marks if you use a new rig everytime.

now, you say you're falling out when you register. well, you don't always have to register, sometimes you can know you're in just by feel. it'll slide in easier once you're in the vein because its lubed by the blood. other times there can be small amounts of vacuum still in rig and the smallest amount of blood will show up in the rig.

but I think in your situation, the technique you should use is get the needle under your skin, and then pull the plunger back a little to create a vacuum in the rig, and then continue to push the whole rig forward until you're in the vein, then blood will shoot into the rig when you're in and you can just start shooting and won't fall back out trying to register, because you pre-registered. does that make sense? get under skin, create vacuum, continue looking for vein under skin, since vacuum is already in rig, as soon as you pierce the vein, blood will shoot in without you having to move all around to register.

We went and got some syringes that are
shorter than a 1cc, I now know they're
50 IU, I thought they were 100 IU but I was
wrong. Anywho, those help out tremendously.
I've been using the vein that runs up my
forearm since the ones in the crook are
scarred up a little and I'd like to leave
them alone before they are really fucked and
completley unusable. ... I worry that one
day some doctor might need that spot. I was
actually able to do it myself this last shot
I took. My husband was sitting right there
just in case though. I could feel what you
are talking about when you said that I'd be
able to feel it. I just have to be careful
not to poke in one side and out the other.
I still have 4 more days to practice so
hopefully I will get better.

I have found these two spots on the back of my hand to be VERY easy veins to find and hit. they're not my favorite, especially the one between index and thumb. but that one on the side of your wrist, if you can get it to pop out like its supposed to, is a fucking ROPE and HUGE.

Yeah! That's what I'm looking for! The biggest
of my small veins. I'm gonna look for that
monster next time. I noticed the one I've been
hitting that goes up my forearm is pretty big
too.

its most likely the same vein just further down your arm.

and if you do the sterile water thing for practice, use small amounts at a time, like only 30 units or something. something low,but still enough to where when you register you'll see what its supposed to look like. I know shooting sterile water isn't bad for you, but I just think doing a lot of it is going to thin your blood out. so no aspirin or anything like that when practicing.
 
Here's a thought......what does your hubby say? Isn’t he the one you been getting high with 2 times a day? And he’s the one going out of town to leave his wife to fend for herself?

I hope he didn’t say, ‘just go to that internet message board, they’ll tell you what to do.’

Well think about it, if you got high with your wife twice a day like she describes and you were scheduled to go out of town wouldn't you make sure she was able to take care of that instead of having to ask for advice on an internet message board?
 
I would've done what was done. she did it in front of him last night, and was successful. what else can he do? I guess if they have a mutual friend that used he could ask that person to come over and help. but like I said, she did it in front of him last night successfully...not much else he can do.

Haha. So, I'm not the only one.

OP: seems like you've already gotten your answers, but I will add that I, too, once had a 'Doc'. 'Doc' wasn't around one day, so I tried smoking the Tar - Fuck that, has little to no effect after habitual IV use. Once you need it bad enough, you will become a pro. Not necessarily something I wanted to aspire to be great at, but it's all relative. God Speed and be 'Right on the Money'
 
yeah, I remember my first time having to shoot up. the people that I always took the spot for the hook-up would usually let me use in their apartment and then we'd hang out, or I'd leave. but this time they said I couldn't come up. so I took my button and went home with it. I cooked it too much and barely got any water back up. and then I missed the shot anywayz.

but then I got tired of having to share my dope for people to shoot me up. so I just figured it out. its inevitable.

and be careful, because now you'll be sneaking off to the restroom alone to do a shot on the downlow.

How to plug black tar (don't plug if you're constipated, as you already said)-
1. Cook the shot like normal (tar + water + spoon/cooker + very small amount of heat and stirring), except you don't need to filter it. Use as much water as the rig will hold.
2. Draw solution, unfiltered, from cooker to rig without a needle, you can get an oral syringe from any pharmacy. Get the smallest one possible.
3. Put a liberal amount of some lubricant (I use canola oil) all over the rig, especially the tip and where it becomes bigger just after the tip.
4. Lay down with your ass in the air and insert the rig as far as it will go (almost up to the plunger). This sounds unpleasant but it really isn't, especially with a lubricant on the rig. Depress the plunger.
5. Take the rig out and stay in that position for a few minutes. Then change position to laying on your left side with your right knee flexed towards your chest. There are many sources of information online about different positions you can lay in after/during an enema, which one you use is a matter of personal preference. Stay in this position for 20-40 minutes and enjoy.
 
^ Just curious; I've done this with MDMA, Ketamine, crushed "ecstasy" tablets (gross, I know), dextroamphetamine, methamphetamine and cocaine.There's no reason your above description wouldn't work with East Coast powdered dope, right? Minus the heating, obviously.

PS I'm glad you mentioned how it's really not that unpleasant to insert a needleless syringe up your anus. Most of the time I don't even have to use lubricant, I just wet the outside of the rig (although I keep some lube around in case it's needed for whatever reason). So many BL'ers are terrified of this ROA (either bc of the stigma or the potential for feeling uncomfortable)! It really is benign.
