Also, the only specialists who will accept Medicaid are more like Special Ed dotors. They are usually the ones who graduated from a shitty medical school at the bottom of their class and barely made it through residency, and also went through a lousy specialist residency.

Honestly, this stuff just sounds like a local issue. Never had any issue finding high quality specialists that took medicaid here when I was on it.

I did notice extreme waiting times on ANY psychiatrist, covered or not, though. My state is probably just one step away from being commie Canada with a problem like that. You know, because ~wait times~.

I haven't had any issues like ones described by Canadian residents or UK residents. Strangely people can bitch all they want about our Healthcare system, but there are middle class people in so many countries that have socialized medicine and they can be a nightmare for average people, because of wait times and poor treatment. Cancer patients and people with serious problems can end up dying while waiting.
Even wait times in the ER are much longer unless you are almost dead. The costs here is the real issue, and the fact that pain patients are being screwed over.
