Also, the only specialists who will accept Medicaid are more like Special Ed dotors. They are usually the ones who graduated from a shitty medical school at the bottom of their class and barely made it through residency, and also went through a lousy specialist residency.
Honestly, this stuff just sounds like a local issue. Never had any issue finding high quality specialists that took medicaid here when I was on it.
I did notice extreme waiting times on ANY psychiatrist, covered or not, though. My state is probably just one step away from being commie Canada with a problem like that. You know, because ~wait times~.
