yeah englandz, I can imagine the job is demanding enough without being expected to work hours like a robot, our NHS staff deserve to be treated a lot better by the people at the top, ultimately the government. .

Here's a slightly better bit of news, I hope they manage it The NHS Choir holds a narrow lead in the race for the 2015 Christmas Number 1
But Justin Bieber is closing in...

that would be a great two fingers to jeremey hunt and co with their ridiculous demands they are making of the NHS.

Getting free of benzos is a good feeling too aye.

I think the the salary bands for nurses and paramedics in the NHS is shocking. I think more recognition of what they do should lead to higher salaries. It may go some way to increasing the pitfall in morale, and the mass of work related stress. The same stress factors will be present in their jobs, but at least if they felt the nature of their work was fully appreciated, the morale would be much higher. We could maybe, I don't know, cut defence spending or our ridiculous tax laws for corporations, and it would be easy to hire more staff and decrease the overbearing work loads. This should also lead to better patient outcomes.

It's sad that some people don't appreciate it fully until they're in need of saving.

Salary bands are a fucking joke. You do get a 25% extra for the fact that you have to work weekends, nights, bank holidays Xmas etc. but it's still not a lot. What boils my piss is that they have introduced these 'Advanced Practitioner' paramedics who are supposed to be able to treat more conditions s in peoples
people's homes and take the stress off A&E but most of the ones I know do fuck all and are mostly winging it... And they're on 2 full pay bands higher. Don't even get me started on those greedy fucking fireman :)

Soldiers get the worst deal of all though.... They get fuck all considering how hard they work for it....

Just bought this http://www.nhsno1.com/download for 99p, its on itunes/google play/amazon etc.

Anyone with 99p to spare should consider buying this to make it uk xmas no1 and send a strong message of support for the NHS to the uk government.
