An older site that I hadn't signed into for years is gone, so I looked around and I found this online community. I'm clean for ten months. I got off hydrocodone with the help of out patient treatment and suboxone. These days I'm battling general-anxiety/sleeplessness. I've been thinking about self-medicating with Valium or Xanax - a little during the day and 50/50 ZOLPIDEM/VALIUM for sleep.

Please be aware that benzos like valium and xanax, and nonbenzodiazepine hypnotics like zolpidem cause dependence when used regularly. They can be very difficult to stop once the body is used to them, and they often lose efficiency over time. I highly suggest exploring other options for GAD and sleep aids. Antihistamines such as diphenhydramine and doxylamine can help with anxiety and sleep. If you wish to discuss this more a good place to start threads about this is the Basic Drug Discussion forum.

I really prefer carisoprodol, but can't get it since *snip* disintegrated. (Can I say stuff like that here?) I'll edit the name out if that is necessary.

^ We don't allow any vendor names, past or present, so you will need to edit that out. Soma (carisoprodol) was rescheduled in the US, so it is not as easy to obtain as it was before the new year.
