[HR] Is it a crime to inject saline solution? [Massachusetts]

Title says it all, just debating with a relative whether it's legal to inject purely saline solution in Massachusetts (or federal law is fine too), or if it's considered self-harm.

More specifically, can you be 5150'd (involuntary psychiatric hold) for injecting saline yourself.
