New to the forums but not new to forums. been posting since my early teenage years on GameFAQs message boards.

I came across these boards from the cool people over at Grasscity.com. I'm no longer smoke so my posting on those forms was limited to the off topic boards which is cool but I want to talk drugs with fellow users and you can't talk about anything there haha. Apologies if that came off a bit brash but I'm stoked about becoming a member of this forum. According to the members of Grasscity it didn't use to be that way; shame really because those guys and girls are pretty cool people. Real open-minded and accepting.

Anyway I'm normally a bit of a late sleeper but this sinusitis is kicking my ass and I passed out shortly after posting.
 
Thanks aveoturbo. My sinus problems are hereditary but let's just say my recent choice of celebrating kicked it into hyperdrive and more than likely led to the infection. Feeling about 85% today with just that tingling sense of pressure above my nose between the forehead, you know what I'm talking about.

Going to shows, I love watching and discussing films, reading when I have the time, and yeah I play some games. I used to be on that 360 tip but with no internet connection at home, my systems collect more dust than anything.

Those are definitely good. Have you seen The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo(s)? Both are very good.
I really like comedies, indies, and dramas. I'm a sucker for Teen comedy or a good superhero movie.
 
I want to see that flick! I think I saw it on Netflix but unsure atm.

I like indies as well, there seems to be a more "down to earth" feel with them. Sorry, that's about the only way I can explain it. It's just nice to see a movie that does not have Tom Cruise or Ben Asslick :p blowing shit up once in a while. It seems that the "up and coming" actors put more heart into it. That's just my opinion anyway.

I would not go as far to say I am a big movie buff, but my buddy certainly is. In fact, he and I are writing a couple of scripts atm and he is also writing a few more himself on the side. He is big into video/photography, where as I just like to use my imagination and write. It's sort of a release for me :)
 
Wicked cool bro. Glad to hear you've found an outlet to express yourself. I think we all need one of those.
And I totally agree with your explanation on indies sans the Nicholas Cages and Tom Cruises.
