whatup yall... sayin hey from texas. Im new around these parts (the site i mean, but texas i guess too), and thought i would introduce myself.

I havent lurked much, just read maybe one or two threads sent to me by a friend, but decided to register anyway since the site came highly reccommended. im looking forward to learning some new stuff i didnt already know. right now im particularly interested in RCs and K, although there are plenty of other dr00gs i enjoy.

I also enjoy bein outside as much as possible... all my work is outdoors on a ranch which is wonderful except for the summer heat, although id still rather be outside than stuck inside all day long.

well thats all i can think of for now, if you have any questions, feel free to ask...

i love tx. only place ive been that has signs on the building asking you not bring your fire arm into the building. gotta love it!

welcome. im sure some more offical looking will be along soong to say hi, but till then. ola

Cooool, what do you do on the ranch? Are you a cowgirl? ;)

In all seriousness, what do you do there? I'm interested :)

sorry... havent been able to get on in a few days but thanks for all the welcomes!

and klue we basically do everything that needs to be done on the ranch... fix fences and watertroughs, move and feed livestock, lay down minerals, ultrasound etc for peoples thesis projects, mow, repair plows, and sometimes do dissections which is always fun...

the nice thing about the job is it always changes... i get too bored with regular jobs, i need something new everyday and i definitely get it at this job

Cool! Do you ride a horse or a motorbike/atv??

I'm curious! :D

haha yup, get to ride 4 wheelers and trucks around... i havent ridden thier horses yet, but maybe sometime
the 4wheelers are fun until you spend a whole week on one, then i get a little tired of it but its a good time out there none the less

not much flat line... just chillin checkin out the forum a little bit, you know

whats good with you

Hey welcome =]. Rc's and K seem to be my constant line-up at the moment. At least until shroom season or until i can finally get some damn acid. Hope you enjoyin' your stay

cow grls are hawt and even if there are not, they still can kick your ass. either way

shroomie - how hard is it to get a job on a ranch?

Makes me think of Drovers here in Australia :)

What sort of food do they cook up for you? Beef? =D

haha Klue just wanting to know allabout the life of a cowboy. why dont ya watch john wayne ya silly aussie :P

She seems interesting, that's all! Plus I live in a pretty rural area here in Aus, so there would be marked differences I'd say! And yeah, srz bznz indeed.

flatline... it was easy to get my job, all i needed were 3 references from professors, since its a working school/research ranch, but in general im not sure how easy or hard it is to get into that line of work... i think youd need to know people to really get into some good positions though
and klue they dont cook for us = ( but lunchtime usually brings a lot of mexican food which is always delicious... the restraunts in that part of the town are all mostly mexican, although they do serve some american stuff like steaks and hamburgers
i guess if they did cook for us we would have a variety of lamb and mutton, as well as goat meat, and of course cow haha
