I guess you can call me SouthernGuy aka Mississippi. I'm new here and just left a new topic in "The Dark Side" section if anyone cares to comment on it. I have been an addict for 14 years and have been down every road leading to hell and back. I've been holding a job down lately and hope to resurrect the "old me" before I became a worthless junkie. Time will tell....

Hey SG and WELCOME! I just read your post and Herby's response. She was SPOT ON with every word. It does sound like you've been through a lot. Kudos for your efforts to overcome your addiction. Don't be so down on yourself. Do not meditate so long on your past that you fail to CELEBRATE your present.

There are some good folks here that have been where you are. Don't hesitate to reach out. You're not alone.
