Hey everyone! Long time lurker (lol) and new member here! This is officially my first post.. :)
I just wanted to say that I really enjoy reading what everyone has to say here on BL, and it seems like y'all are all really close, like a little family. :) There's tons of helpful info on the site, and I personally have attained a wealth of knowledge just from reading the posts in various forums. I feel like I'll be greeted here with open arms joining the BL "family." =D
Well, a little about me I suppose..lol I'm a stay-at-home mom to 3 awesome kiddos. They get on my nerves sometimes (c'mon parents, whose kids don't, right? lol), but I love 'em more than life itself and I wouldn't trade being their mama for anything in the world! I'm married to a great guy; we've been together for 7 years and married for a little over 3. We have a really good relationship, although, everything isn't always sunshine and happiness (hey, that's reality!). I live in a small town in Central Florida, and have lived in Florida my whole life. I'm also a heroin addict. My tumble down the rabbit hole started of slow and very non-chalant (as I'm sure happens most of the time), and slowly progressed into the monster it is now. I have a lot going for me, and I'm aware that if I continue down the path that I'm going I'll likely end up losing everything, if not ending up dead. 8( I'm actively trying to pursue getting back to living a sober lifestyle.
Anywho, that's about it about me for now. Just wanted to say hey, and thanks in advance for any and all support in my current endeavor. :) Y'all are totally awesome, and the support everyone gives to one another is amazing. =D

Welcome to the forums. You may also want to check out Other Drugs, as it contains a wealth of knowledge on techniques for safer use, as well information on making withdrawal more comfortable.

I'm currently trying my best to keep clean too and going to school to become a drug and alcohol counsler at the local detox.

Thanks for telling us all about you - 'tis nice to "meet" new members. Like you, I am a stay at home mam, only I have the one child - instead of three. haha - I hear you about them getting on your nerves at times, but still loving them n stuff! Social Stuff

You may be interested in the New Members Introductions (NMI) Social Thread where there are both Bluelighters and Greenlighters who come from different sub-forums on the site. North and South American Social & Drug Discussion might introduce you, encase you are interested in speaking to people who live more in your locality. There also an Adoption Programme , where Bluelighters (current members of BL) befriend Greenlighters (new members) to try and help them settle down into the site more - they can be a friend, or someone to help out with site-navigation and so forth. If you feel that this is something you'd like, please feel free to comment on the thread expressing your interest and someone will contact you either on the thread - or by private message (PM).

Other Stuff

I would also advise you to read the Greenlighter's Guide and the rules known as BLUA (Bluelight User Agreement) because they protect us members as well as the site. For instance; one of the rules is no sourcing, if a member had not read the rules and discusses sourcing, then they may receive a warning or whatever, and if they had have read the rules, they would have avoided receiving, eg a warning.
