Hello All BL'ers!

It's been a few years that I was on / participating in this great forum, but I'm back as a 'new user' - yet very far from being new to many things...

I had to leave due to certain circumstances not related to BL and remove all my old posts, etc. So, starting from scratch again here and I hope that's ok with the OG's of BL. %)

Anyhow, for what it's worth - I've been in a PMP (pain mgmt. program) with a private doctor here where I reside for about 2+ years and have been maintaining on methadone for that period (although there was a short-time on Bupe w/o success or any pain killing help), yet I have a lot of experience in many other forms of euphoria/pleasure and also the 'dark side'... Been in many accidents, and work-related issues which is why I am constantly in pain, hence, pain mgmt.

Have experience from good weed, shamanistic plants and herbs, 'smart drugs' and even the real opium when it was available amongst pretty much the entire opiate scale. Was a very avid user of psychedelics as a kid, along with many other such things.

Unfortunately, I have been in WDs many times without success of getting off of the slave pill (methadone) as I get really, really bad anxiety and almost suicidal not being able to be comfortable in my own skin, yet have lost of a lot of good friends to suicide, so I know how that can affect everyone around you and that's not something I would want to do to my loved ones or friends, family, kids... So, I know how it feels to go through hell on many things.

Used to be an alcoholic, but like some of you, I basically traded one addiction for another. It's a very bad cycle and I would not recommend anyone that is here researching or wanting to experiment with ANY opiates, RUN AWAY NOW and NEVER look back. If you are not already a slave, do not become one! But that's my own opinion of course and to each their own, but I really wanted to get that warning out to those that may see this before using and actually THINK! <3

At any rate, it's good to be back again. I've been lurking around for about a week or so again and finally decided to join in the conversations again, hopefully to help those that may need it and keep those that are researching or looking into something, hopefully help them from doing something stupid as I have done many times over...

To all the OG BL'ers and the originator(s), THANK YOU for this forum / site. Don't think that the internet could ever be without Erowid and Bluelight to really help people survive a lot of things that humans do to their bodies. It's amazing how we got along without this kind of support and information before. To all the rest of the membership, thanks for keeping BL alive and fed well with all your great posts and there is some great advice on this site for new-comers and 'pros' alike!

Thank you...

Welcome back! We seem to have had an influx of returning members from past afar :)

I know what its like to trade addictions. I went from alcohol to pills myself and recently had an "intervention" done on myself by my family. I am 8 days sober now and its been a long 8 days.

Its a path many will follow and some wont return from. Thanks for returning! Looking fwd to seeing you around!
