When is Stern going to be back from vacation? I'm sick of best of. *makes angry face*

BTW did any of you that have the website for downloads get the artie stuff? F'ing hilarious. :D

Stern always takes 2 weeks off in July, it's par for the course.

Can't wait til he's back.
 
I can always tell the second I hear them talking if it's a repeat or not, cuz their voice tone is slightly higher. My b/f's dad, who never misses a show, said that the tone change is because they play the repeats at a slightly faster speed. Is this true? It makes sense I guess.
 
They do, and not only that, I usually jus thop onto Howardstern.com and see when they are off, it'll tell you.

not only that, but after listening almost daily for the past few years - you kind of know when Stern is off.

You can always count that when we have an observed holiday on a monday, Stern will be off that entire week. It never fails.

In February and July he takes 2 weeks off as well.

I usually only get to hear about 15 minutes of Howard live when I'm at home in the mornings. Nowadays I have to rely on the recorded shows (which I listen to at work). I'd really like to thank the people that started that site. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be hearing Howard much at all. And they update the current day usually between 11:30 and 2:00 so I get to hear the current days material on the current day.
 
What is this crap with Stern only doing 4 live shows a week (mon - thur) on Sirius, and Friday is a "special" day? :| What on earth could that be, he's getting paid half a billion and he works less??!

No more Howard in Columbus!

Well the FCC finally got around to central Ohio and the station pulled Howard from the air on Thursday. The station owner made some comments, and took phone calls from the fans. :( This is really bullshit, I am ashamed to say I live in America anymore when the religious right and practically all politicians think they're the fuckin morality police.

I guess I'll use the daily download site and buy a Sirius setup.

Did anyone listen to the show yesterday (monday)? I was only able to catch parts of it, but I'm pretty sure it was Kelly Monaco that was telling some really odd story about being given a bottle of water spiked with drugs when she was in a club. The details of her story sounded so far fetched; I really hope someone here knows what I'm referring to...
 
I only ever liked the pornographic episodes of Stern, Tabitha Stevens was my favourite for ages, but now she looks fucking terrible in the later episodes of Stern and most episodes non-nudity aren't my cup of tea.

but good for him moving to sirius, seems like digital radio will become a huge hit against the FCC

Holy shit, that sucks! Sorry that happened. But at least you have that download site. That's the only thing that keeps me going nowadays.
