How would you feel if you couldn't have sex ever again?

How would you feel if you couldn't have sex ever again? I'd be curious to know, how people would feel like if they'd be informed that they can never have sex again. Would it make you feel depressed? Would that kind of information make you lose your will to live? Would it make a difference to your life at all? How about the people who haven't had sex at all yet - if there are any? You could never know what sex is like, how would you feel about that? I ask this, because I'm one of the people for whom is it really hard to get sex for personal reasons. Of course I'd be able to pay a whore to have sex with me, but I'm not the kind of person who does that kind of stuff. Anyway, I've accepted the fact, that sex is not probably going to be part of my life ever and I'm fine with it. I'll just focus on something else. Well, I didn't make this topic to talk about yourself. I just wanted to know if it would be hard for a 'normal' person to accept this kind of thing.

I wouldn't care to be honest. I'm not massively sexual anyway and it's been a while. It's just frankly not that important.
 
I'd care for the first 6 months... then I'd forget about it and play video games... but the day someone walks up to me and says hey bud you can't play video games ever again.... I'd shoot myself.

This is not to say that if my girlfriend came up to me in the middle of a game, I wouldn't hit pause, and go fuck her brains out... because... you know, good sex just isn't as common as a pause button.

It wouldnt worry me in the slightest.

I am also one of those who just dont find sex all that big a deal.

For me its all; about sensualness.

Mind telling WHY?

Personally, it would suck but I'd move on. Sex isn't the only thing in life taht gives you pleasure...there's also drugs and Rock'n'Roll.
 
It would piss me off, because I have only had sex with one girl, and its not because I regret it, its because I know there are better girls around the corner waitin for me....:D
 
The idea would have really bothered me back in my 20s or early 30s; but as I get older, I no longer think it would be so awful to spend from my 50s onwards celibate.

Though most wouldn't openly admit it, I believe that many over 50s are pretty much finished with sex. Many men are impotent by their mid 50s. Yes, there's Viagra; but it's not the be all. A lot of people simply can't be bothered by a certain point in their lives, and find the idea rather embarassing if they're honest.

Naturally, I think it's completely normal for it to be important when you're young, for both men and women. But it seems that most of my husband's friends (and he himself) are no longer bothered.

Sex used to be really important to me because I once regarded it as the closest form of intimacy. But life is teaching me that day to day caring about another person is more significant in the long run. Longterm friendships are also very valuable as the years pass.

It has the potential to be a profoundly beautiful way of expressing love; but for most of us, I believe it's over-rated if the truth be told.

When you're young, your drive is strong and you want to come (or get pregnant); but I find as I get older (now early 40s) that it's no longer such an urgent need (which is sort of sad, but also a huge relief!).

Up until fairly recently that question would have made me balk.

Now though, the idea of not ever having sex again....while I would definitely miss it, I would get on with my life. I haven't really attached much emotion to sex for a long time anyway, so it wouldn't affect my emotional relationships at all.

It's just that I really like teh fuck.

At first i said it wouldn't concern me but then I really thaught about it.

I would be majorly depressed not being able to have children and not being able to be close to someone I love. shit i'd rather be dead.
 
im hugely affectionate, tactile, sensual .... so it would make me cry. but like all things you make the most of the sitch and find something else to fill the gap.
 
it would make me feel like going out and having sex, i'm rebellious like that.
 
It would be horrible. I wouldn't necessarily miss the sex part, but the heightened sense of intimacy that comes from having sex with someone. I'm sure I would get used to it though.
