How would you describe a sativa high ?

Ok so my dealer was offering me some dominant sativa strain today . And before i spent money on it , i wanted to ask a few questions about sativa strains ...

1) with weed i tend to get very lazy and lethargic , and really cant be bothered to do jack shite .I hate this feeling and I explained this problem to my friend and he said it might be because im smoking indica strains which are known to do that to you .

and i was wondering for all you guys who have smoked both strains , is there a "burnout" after smoking satvia strains ? Do you feel tired at all , or lethargic ?

2) How would you describe the sativa high? i know many people say its more of a trippy and more energetic high . I LOVE the sound of this . Is it kinda like a stimulant effect then ?
I was wondering if its a sort of feeling where you actually want to accomplish things instead of just vegging out on a couch . ? do you feel like talking alot (kinda like amps lol ) ?, etc

Could someone please describe the feeling in more detail ?


and finally ...
3) Which strain type (sativa and indica) is higher in THC and CBD ?
And i know alot of people say that Sativas are more likely to make someone psycotic (more THC) and i just want to confirm this . . . .


sorry , i know some people will say UTFSE , but i did . I just managed to find the basic description of the different strains , when im looking for a more detailed explanation . . .

And also if anyone finds any sites with people writing experience reports on smoking different strains that would be great ! ! !
 
a sativa high is lighter,...more smiley faced and grinny....if you know what I mean.....as opposed to being bolted to the couch and not feeling like moving a muscle..
 
You're over thinking this way to hard.

Are you talking headies? Indica heavy headie strains like White Rhino or Train Wreck will make you stick to your couch.

Sativa heavy strains, like Northern Lights or any Haze, will make for a more energenic, laugh-y, and creative high.

Many strains are a combination of the two.

If you are talking about KB or mids or swhag, that burnout feeling is normal. It's not so harsh with headies.


And I don't know WTF you are talking about, pot making someone psychotic? No, no strain will do this.
 
A Sativa high to me feels like a major buzz on the brain, feels like it's rushing it is energetic but it all depends on how much you smoke but I find the burn out isnt nearly as strong as an Indica, although if you smoke heaps after a bit you will become mentally tired.

Sativa's a usually pretty lite on the body for me aswell.

I dont find it to really stimulate me heaps, definatly keeps you up and alert eyes wide open 8o:)

If it is good Sativa it will be sweet, go buy it man trying to explain any type of high is just to hard experience yourself;)

Suppose your theory about the THC causing a psycotic episode could be true in a way, when you smoke a fair ammount of high THC% Sativa it can get very psychedelic. CBD's from Indica's can be used as anti psycotics so it makes sense.
 
indica makes you a lazy cunt if you toke too much.

sativa makes things all trippy and happy and you want to get up and do shit.

yes,...sativa is hard to find..



sativa always seems to have a citrus taste to me..
 
indica is more available as its a better yielder than sativa strains, so commercial growers tend to grow em.


a sativa plant will typically yield up to 40% less than an indica plant grown in the same conditions.

another reason that people don't like to grow it is that the flowering time can be as long as 12 - 16 weeks.....
 
true.

personally im of the opinion "good things come to those who wait".
and my, my, is it good!

IMO sativa is the best kind of buzz. perhaps the longer flowering time and smaller yield is to weed out all the growers who just want a big, fast harvest.

maybe its the ganja god's way of finding the truly worthy ;)

i dunno .. lets say , Which strain would be better to do mental math with ???


and say i wanted to be high at work at a cash desk (which i often am) . Which would be better for that ?
 
sativa.

by far sativa, every time.
indica is for lounging on the sofa in the sun.

sativa is for being able to function and wanting to get up n do shit.
however at work on sativa you might get the giggles.
and its a cash desk (im assuming a bank) so id say indica, for chilledness, but at the same time mental math becomes hard on a hefty indica buzz if you aint used to doing math in ur head.

really its up to you.
however you should look into vedic mathematics.
i guarantee youll love it!

i find complex math easy as fuck now.
i actually laughed and smiled doing math for the first time ever, because with those techniques its so easy!

I find with indicas i fail at maths . im always forgetting the number i just had , and wow its almost as if im a retard . . .


Is it the same with sativas ?

My dealer never says what type of weed he gets . . . It looks boom though .its not shitty weed .

He along with many of my friends believe that weed is weed , and they dont believe in strains . As long as they get high they are fine . :|
they are so dum to realize different strains have different highs. :X


According to me , i feel that they are not heavy indicas (80%-100% ) but definitely more indica. than sativa.

Im estimating around 70-75% indica .
 
if thats the attitude of your dealer then you for sure need a new/better hookup.

at the same time if he never underweighs it, the bags are always on weight, and its a pretty decent product thats worth the cash, then why not spend a day with the guy, educating him on cannabis, from a consumers standpoint.

that will make a world of difference not only to you, but to him, and everyone who he sells to.
 
sativa compared to indica has been a VERY long dispute...

Sativa is what i would call an active bud... i remember smokin with my uncle in our garage just before we went to the bmx track or worked on the car.. it makes you... mobile? constant interest in new things and ways to enjoy your day... whether your out and about or cleanin up your house. sativa is a good way to be high AND functional...

Indica is the stoners best friend if they have a day to kill.... literally...
i have craved a good strain the past few months.... i actually enjoy the feeling of not bein able to do shit except make funny jokes and notice the normally unnoticed. :P white rhino and the like are the most common couch buds (once you sit down... your not gettin back up)

if you enjoy being in public or with your friends either on a shopping trip.. going to the movies or even walkin to mcdonalds to grab some munchies sativa is the way to go...

if you want to chill on your couch watchin the news all day and somehow finding every tragic suicide bomber story incredibly hilarious but your too lazy to text your friends about it.... then stick with the couch buds :P much love my stoner friend
