How would I go about getting prescribed medication?

So there's like a 10% chance I don't have add. I was a hyperactive, inattentive, scatter-brained kid who grew up into an unmotivated, sometimes lethargic (due to exhaustion from having too many damn disorganized thoughts), scatter-brained, inattentive, cognitively slow, bored adult. Though my main doc was always opiates (on h ~8 years, off h for 2, off methadone for 1), stimulants genuinely help me function and I've always really liked them.

The thing is, I've done both adderall and meth, quite a lot, in doses ranging from therapeutic to up for 6 days with no sleep. I know adderall, even in suggested doses, doesn't give me desired effects. It makes me more organized and functional, sure, but also makes me too obsessive compulsive and honestly a little wired. Meth, however, in low doses (like .15 snorted) is simply perfect. It calms me down so that I'm able to concentrate and am not exhausted by my 38594297 different irrelevant thoughts. I'm not wired, not tired, not agitated, not even overly euphoric. Just comfortable.

But it's not like I can go to a psychiatrist and ask for desoxyn. I haven't done ritalin so idk how it affects me, but since (unless I'm wrong) it doesn't affect serotonin I can't imagine it being much different for me than adderall.

But I can't really tell them about my experience on adderall and meth without them thinking I'm just trying to get drugs right? At the same time I kinda need to function at work and don't really wanna be derailed by an irritible, insomnia ridden ocd episode because for whatever reason they've decided meth is evil and reserved for a last resort.

Any suggestions on how I should go about this guys?

That's not why bluelight is here, we aren't here to help you get prescribed meds, if you really have add the doctor will recognize that and take whatever course of action he/she sees fit.
