Heroin How to treat Heroin hangover

I did a little search on what I can do to feel better, no great ideas yet. Maybe my search was more half assed to to pain

Last night I smoked 3 hits of crack and snorted about 4 lines of Heroin that might have been equivalent to about 8 bags (but they were weak). Today I feel like SHIT, worst headache of the month.

I dont know what causes this hangover, does heroin dehydrate the body like alcohol? Any suggestions on what I can do to feel better? Only drug I have around to help is weed.. :(
 
i always felt great the morning after dope.....well except when i starting waking up already somewhat sick, but yea if your not dependent yet then you should have a nice afterglow from dope, perhaps it was the cut since you said it was weak or maybe the crack fucked with your sleep, i dunno, but i do know i never had dope hangovers

I find opiates give me an after glow generally, I feel better the next day.
 
8 bags is a decent amount of powder. And if it was weak like you say, there is a good chance it could have contained a large amount of crappy cut that doesn't absorb well and has stuffed your nose/sinuses up, creating pressure in your head which would give you a headache.. Also, 8 bags for someone who does heroin 'once every couple months' is a crazy amount, so either you are lying about your use, or your dope is absolute garbage. It is possible you just did too much, and an 'opiate hangover' is a very real thing. When I first started using oxy, (long before I started doing dope) some times if I did way too much the night before I would wake up feeling liek I got hit by a bus.. Such as a headache, nausea, sensitivity to light, etc.

The best thing you can do is just eat a nutritious meal, drink lots of fluids, take a vitamin, a shower, and rest. It will go away.

Not the best advice i've heard on BL....

As far as i'm aware heroin does not dehydrate the body like alcohol, i would tend to agree with NeighborhoodThreat and say that it was either the crack or the crap your gear was cut with that gave you a bad head, take care.
 
Sorry to bump this thread after so long, but I thought I could give my own input. I do heroin once every two weeks and everytime I get a 'dope hangover.' My friend does as well. I've gotten well past the point of getting sick while doing dope, but the next morning always seems to kill me. I feel like shit, extremely lethargic, and my stomach feels very weak. Opiates have always done this to me, and my friend has the same reaction. The only thing that really helps it is either sleeping longer or weed. I'm still looking for the be all end all cure, though.

And that's why I have a great paying job at 20 years old... make great money and I'm broke.. Is because I felt like shit and i did more and more and more.. NEVER DO THAT.

But yeah I doubt the headache is from the dope.. but 8 bags is a hell of a lot to sniff if you only do it once in a while. Thats insane. what can you do though? Take a Tylenol.
 
It's not the cut guys. I can't understand why you think it's unheard of for someone to get a hangover after doing doing a HUGE amount of heroin. I always have a hangover if I do too much heroin and what he described are the exact symptoms I get.

ANyway, the best way to treat it is just to go to sleep. You will feel better when you wake up. The only other option is doing more heroin.

But if you weanted to avoid opiates IMO the next best thing would be a benzo to knock you da fuck out.
