How to tell if there is amp and mdma in a pill?

For the Mecke, Simon's, and Marquis testing kits, how would the reaction be to show that there is mdma and meth, caffine, or, amp in the pill?

i mean like would you see 2 colors in the change if amp and mdma is present?

It's possible, but you may or may not be able to see it. If you're using marquis, it should be either purple or black for MDMA, depending on the concentration and purity. ANY amphetamine-like substance (Amphetamine, Methamphetamine, or something with a similiar chemical structure), will turn a bright orange color.

To the best of my knowledge, caffeine does not react to any of the reagents.

A couple of years ago ago I had a few pills which contained MDMA + methamphetamine. At first test with EZ-Complete I just thought the pills were MDMA as they came up the usual colours of dark purple for Marquis/Mandelin and royal blue for Simons. After a few occasions of myself and friends eating them we realised that it was very likely they contained somthing quite speedy in them and retested. From this experience (and many others since) I now know how to test to see if pills have MDxx and meth or MDxx and amp. The trick is you need to take a desent scraping. Nothing too massive like 1/8 of the pill or anything wastefull, just take a good sized scraping so you can really see some colours changing. You also need to have enough reagent so the whole blob of liquid is not completely filled with colour. Eg. If the whole thing goes black well you can't see any other colours in there can you!

I find that by far Marquis is the best test for MDxx pills that also have speed in them too. Obviously if the pill contains MDMA + methamphetamine you really need to be carefull when looking at the results or you will miss it. Simons will go blue as per usual and Marquis & Mandelin will still go dark purple. Mecke will still go dark blue as per usual and Robadope will show no reaction. When I test a pill that has MDMA + methamphetamine with Marquis I will usually see it go an orangey colour first then it will start going dark purple. At the end of the reaction if I have taken enough scraping I will quite often see a red or orange/red ring around the dark purple or black (of the MDMDA reaction). Sometimes the orangey red colour gets mixed with the dark purple and can make it go a purpley brown. I like to retest if I see a purpley brown and see if the colours are more distinct the next time. For a few pills that have been high in meth I have noticed when testing with Simons that they have made the reagent turn blue even before I have added the buffer! I am not sure why this is but I have never come accross this before with pills that contain only MDxx.

I have tested pure base before with Marquis and it bubbled then went yellow and slowly turned orange. By "base" I mean that clear or milky clear glugy/sludgy/sticky stuff that is high purity amphetamine that you find on the street. This is the difference I see when testing pills that contain MDxx + amphetamine as opposed to MDxx + meth. Marquis goes a yellow to orange as well as purple. It is a lighter colour and changes more slowly. Meth goes a more reddish colour. Also Robadope reacts if there is amphetamine in there (also MDA). With Robadope you will need a large scraping (not too much though 1/8 of the pill is way too wasteful!). You will just see a very small reaction. Only a few grains will sink and go orange/brown if you are lucky sometimes the specks that sink and go orange may give off a small orange or orange/red colour patch. The reaction is always pretty small with Robadope so if you see anything like this it is quite likely it is reacting and there is a noticeable amount of amphetamine or MDA in there.

Is there any reagent that reacts only for amphetamines(meth etc) and no color change at all for mdma(or mda etc)? That would be a useful reagent to have in narrowing down what is in a mixed pill.

Hmmm, that's a good question. Not one that I know of, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. :)

My experience has been that you need a somewhat decent amount of scraping...pills that have (meth)amp, but in a low quantity, will turn the (meth)amp color for just a second or two before turning black/purple...pills that have a pretty solid amount of (meth)amp will turn the (meth)amp color and either stay that way or will stay that way for longer than 10-15 seconds before turning purple/black...As far as I know, reagents do not test for caffeine.
