how to smoke DMT?

hey all,

I recently got a changa and DMT dealer's number and I'm planning to buy from him soon. I've had a lot of experience with psilocybin and other psychs so I feel ready, but I don't know the first thing about smoking methods. First of all, does it hit so fast that I wont have time to put the pipe down? And can I just smoke it like weed, in a pipe or a bong or a vaporizer?

tips and help for a DMT beginner are appreciated :)
 
You could use an oil burner(meth pipe); I personally don't like using them for dmt since I always end up wasting allot. I usually sandwich it between some basil or mint leaf in a one hitter or a bowl. I don't like mixing dmt with weed since I feel it takes away from the experience. It hits pretty quickly but you should still have enough time to put it down if you are quick about it. Just make sure you have a table or tray next to the bed or chair you are doing it on. The smoke is pretty harsh but by the time you exhale you wont notice anymore.
 
You have to vaporize it rather than burn it, but don't put it in your vaporizer as it melts and will break your heating element. You could add some screens to your bong and sandwich it between weed or ash or whatever, so that the flame won't touch the DMT. You could also use "The Machine" or "The Bottle-Method" (the latest seems to be the easiest).

If you really like DMT then you could buy vaporizers like a Glass Vaporgenie or The Essential Vaaapp
 
so I've got this very basic lightbulb vape, but I couldnt use it? and the actual flame touching the DMT doesnt work? so then how could I use a bong?

and I'm hearing that I cant just use my basic weed pipe for this?

Shouldn't we have like a DMT vaping technique FAQ and/or subthread? Of course there's more than one technique and it depends on the pipe you are using. Not sure how that should be organized.

We could do some searching and string good descriptions and explanations together, but of course we can also write something new.
Any takers?

Is this overkill? I feel like vaping DMT is a bit of a skill or art, but one objection I can think of is that maybe you just gotta gain experience from doing it a number of times. Still, I'd argue that one can be ideally prepared by first reading essential tips on how to approach it.
 
I thought you meant something like a Volcano when you meant vaporizer, sorry for that. Yeah you could use a lightbulb vape. Make sure it's clean before you try something else in it, or you could suddenly be blasted away or whatever.
 
Just warm it up with a distant flame instead of dousing it in flame right away, because if u just hit it immediately with the flame ull burn it all up to quickly. Use whatever pipe u want just make sure u tease it with your lighter to warm it up first. From my experience a bong with no water in it works the best. (The water will filter it.... which is no bueno)
 
My fav way is in a bing, I just sprinkle it on top of some ashes, and pull the lighter flame an inch or so from the products and inhale till it melts and once it starts smoking a fill the chamber and rip it all haha
