How to smoke Changa

I recently got some Changa (DMT enhanced leaf) and smoked some of it which led to an incredible experience. Though I do have one question since I don't want to waste it and I've never smoked DMT/changa before. I'd like to know the proper technique for smoking Changa. I've read about holding it in for 10 seconds, but I feel like their might be more I should do to get the most out of it. Also throughout the experience I was taking hits which I've read is ineffective since DMT tolerance builds up very fast. Thank you.

As mailmonkey said, if you enjoy it, carry on as you are.

If you're trying for a breakthrough experience, load a bowl of a bong and hit it all and hold it in as long as possible. Might not want any water in it if you're doing this alone.

As far as tolerance, there seems to be very mixed reports, a few people have said that they can have another breakthrough trip only a few hours after the first. Some people say that if they don't breakthrough on their first hit they have to wait a day.

I'm part of the former, I can have a few small hits before one big one that blasts me into hyperspace.

The nice thing about changa is you can smoke it properly in a bong. Just light the leaf and pull without keeping the flame of your lighter lit very long. You will want to hold your hits in for 10-15 seconds.

Many seem to enjoy a changa session with about 3-4 good hits spread out that will extend your experience to about 2 hours. If your enhanced leaf has caapi alkaloids (harmala) or caapi leaves, it will be much different than vaporizing freebase by itself as the MAOi effect of the harmalas allows DMT to stay unchanged within your bloodstream significantly longer. It's makes it less of a rocket ship type experience.

Don't mix enhanced leaf with SSRI's or MDMA! Enjoy, be safe.

^By definition, Changa must have caapi leaves and DMT.

But yeah. A bong is perfect for changa. Just pack the bong as big as you can and try and hold the smoke in for as long as possible. The 'rules' of DMT smoking don't apply as rigidly to changa...

^He mentions enhanced leaf and changa. These are different, no? I'm new to the changa world but will be making my own enhanced leaf here soon. It will not include caapi leaves but instead caapi alkaloids and dmt infused onto mullein, peppermint, and chaliponga.

I'd put a layer of a nonactive (read: NOT WEED) that can burn on top of your DMT, even if there isn't much direct flame some of your DMT will be destroyed if flame touches it. This layer will help prevent that.
