A person has carefully built a balance and acquired a set of calibrated weights, 1mg-50mg so that he can very accurately weight out samples by the mg, and has acquired 100mg of whoazolam, a benzo analog active at 250ug. He wishes to cut his whoazolam with another substance to make it more manageable - and frankly, safer. The plan is to find a solvent for whoazolam and the cut, dissolve them both then evaporate the solvent. Research suggests that ethanol and inositol would work well. So, dissolve 1mg whoazolam with 99mg of inositol in ethanol, evap then a dose is now 25mg, right? But the solute won't be a nice powder, right - probably a cake. Is there a better way? Am I overlooking anything?
