how to remove caffeine from your MDMA

This is only good for removing caffeine from your pill. If your pill only contains caffeine and MDMA, then your really in luck!

First off, you'll need pure anhydrous acetone (purchased at any chemical supply company online, but it must be "anhydrous" acetone). If you know your pill contains caffeine and MDMA, then it's very easy to remove the caffeine.

Simply crush up the pill into a very fine powder. Pour the entire contents of the crushed up pill into 20 ml's. of the anhydrous acetone. Stir for a minute or two. Pour out the entire contents into a medium flow filter paper placed inside of a plastic funnel for support. Pour some fresh acetone into the glass to get any remaining pill contents left behind and pour that into the same filter paper.

Let the acetone finish draining thru. Remove the filter paper containing the powder from the funnel and place, while still in the filter paper, the cleaned MDMA in a safe and non-humid environment for 48 hours.

Now your left with pure MDMA.

So caffeine is soluable in anhydrous acetone? Also, is anhydrous acetone a watched chem? Wouldn't wanna order anythin watched of course.

Yes, caffeine is totally soluble in acetone. And no, it's not a watched item, so there shouldn't be any problems ordering it.

As always, I would suggest ordering anything from a chemical supply company online and skip calling them or talking to them in person. Simply fill in your order online and pay with a credit card.

It's more expensive than their bulk acetone and ACS grade acetone, but both of those contain water and alcohol, so anhydrous is worth it and is a must.

As far as the ratio of acetone to pill goes, just remember 1 gram of caffeine is soluble in 50 ml's of acetone, so you could probably do up to 10 pills with 20 ml's of acetone. I personally wouldn't do more than 5 just to make sure you got all of the caffeine out.

Are you losing any amount of MDMA in this process? And what are the benefits of having no caffeine besides a more pure high? Anything else?

So uh...how could i tell if there was caffeine in my pills withouth a test kit? Would it be like eating thousands of jelly beans? (ahha, no pun intended!)

Or like in chicago we get pills with 50mg of caffeine and 30 mg of mdma in them. And those are the "clean" pills.


You rock lejunk. I got a stash of pills that im not sure if they contain caffeine or not, but they got nothing else but mdma in them so im gonna purify them anyways and have a a nice clean pile of powder. Also, did you notice any binder dissolving in the acetone?
 
I prefer a caffeine kick to my pills over a speed or ephedrine kick but good job anyway :)
- pure is the way it should be, people can always combine pure MDMA with other drugs if they feel the need to rather than combine drugs unknowingly( unknowingly untill the MDMA peak is gone that is :o )

No, your not removing any MDMA in this process. MDMA is insoluble in anhydrous acetone, so it will stay solid. In addition, you will actually be removing many inactive binders, plus other possible active cuts.

You actually answered the second question yourself. The removal of caffeine allows for the more relaxed, pleasurable and true effects of the MDMA itself.

Why wouldn't you want a more truly pure MDMA pill?

If you look at ecstacydata.org, you'll find many pills containing caffeine. It's a nasty drug that can ruin your ecstacy high. To actually know if your pill contains caffeine or not, check first with ecstacydata.org to see if they've already tested your pill. If not, and you have 30-50 pills, send one in for $115 and have it tested. It's worth the money, believe me!
 
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the pure high. It just sounded like more work than it's worth, so i thought I'd ask. I usually never sleep after a roll anyways just so the afterglow will be better.

Good question. MDMA and meth are so closely related, that an easy fix is unfortunately, not likely. I've already looked into it.

Right now though, I'm working on a removal for amphetamine. I'll keep you posted.

You have absolutely nothing to lose by doing an anhydrous acetone wash. I do think many of the binders are soluble in the acetone also, so that's just another benefit.

If the pills are colored, for example, the color will usually stay. I was actually quite surprised with this, but a lil' food coloring has never hurt anything.

I guess if I had to pick the best of the worse, I would also prefer the caffeine. But like you said, if you feel the need for something in addition to what you actually ordered (in this case, pure MDMA), then go buy some No Doze if you feel you actually need it.

It's really not a lot of work at all. 20 minutes of your time for a great evening is time well spent.
