Opioids How to prevent Tramadol "Morning Sickness"?

I have noticed that whenever I recreationally (~250mg dose) use Tramadol (hardly ever but I do every now and again when I have left over pills from a prescription), without doubt the morning after I will vomit, usually more than once, if I take the pills at around 9pm(ish). I have tried anti-nausea tablets but they often do not kick in fast enough from the time between when I wake up and when I spew.

The only cure to the nausea is if I smoke pot, but there are times when I don't have any, etc.

Usually what happens is I get a hot flush kinda thing, experience a vertigo-type feeling and then have to run to the bathroom to vomit. I'm a 64kg male.

How can I prevent this from happening?

I've never gotten sick from tramadol. I'd say its your body telling you not to consume that much tramadol because it doesn't mesh well with the chemical.

Hmmm, maybe you're too high from the O-Desmethyltramadol metabolite, causing you to throw up from the opioid effects. O-Des can be felt for up to 12-16 hours in low tolerance/good Tram metabolizers (ones with rapid CYP2D6 metabolizing liver enzymes).

It would be too long after to throw up from the serotonin from the tram, which can only be felt 5-7 hours. O-Des is a weak serotonin releaser, but strong opioid.

well, you might try ginger-tea or powder in capsules, if the synthetic way doesnt cut it.

or try eating something that doesnt contain too much fat, just to change your stomachs mood or something.
sure you could try different meds, like MCP or ondansetron, but at least MCP is nothing good for continued use (gynaecomastic effects..... dunno if spelled right, its like that in german language! :) ).

EDIT:
oh, if its only that the meds dont act fast enough, did you try using a solution? should be way faster.
