Buprenorphine's half-life should cover your withdrawal syndrome for a good amount of time. Certain anti-histamines in relatively small dosages during the day can help with not feeling the desire (or cravings if you will) to go ahead and dose. I'm on Bupe now myself, with a large amount on hand, and find it a hassle to take (and often forget to take doses and/or take significantly less than prescribed). Had the problem you are describing with Methadone however. Anti-histamines (particular ones) did it for me. Though that was after I had consumed all of my take-homes and had no choice but to wait the 2-4 days before going back to the clinic for more (and the accompanying mild high from inappropriate dosing and going so many days without it).
