One of my favorite recreational drugs right now is Dextromethorphan HBr. I only use the Robitussin CoughGels due to the fact that the only active ingredient is DXM, and its much better than downing whole bottles of a repulsive tasting cough syrup. But the only downside to the CoughGels are the fact that they take an hour longer than the syrup does to even begin to feel the effects because the gel capsule has to dissolve. So its about 2 and 1/2 hours before I even begin to feel anything. So I decided to come to you guys to see if you had any ideas on decreasing the time it takes to dissolve the DXM and enter your body. Do you know of any solutions or chemicals that I could let the Capsules sit in that would make the gel coating easier to break down in my stomach? Or maybe ingesting a certain liquid or mineral/vitamin along with the DXM that would somehow speed up the process? Because I know when I used to abuse Diphenhydramine, taking it with orange juice and taking a vitamin C supplement would greatly decrease how long it took to break down. So maybe the same principles apply. So do you have any ideas?
