How to make it so I don't pee as much?

I have a UTI. Though I have not gone to the doctor, I have had many before (sadly) and know what one is like. My boyfriend is coming over today and I'd rather not have to explain why I'm getting up every 5-10 minutes to go to the bathroom while we're cuddling or watching a movie. Him and I are very close, I just feel it would be embarrassing to tell him that I have one. I can't get in to the doctor until Thursday afternoon and I also work at an amusement park and I have hour scheduled for Wednesday.
Does anyone know anyway to stop from peeing so often? I could really use any adivce.

Holding it in and drinking less water are both very bad ideas. You'll make it worse, and kidney infections is something you definitely want to avoid. Just explain everything to him, he's your boyfriend after all...

As fly has already said, you need to urinate often or your kidneys could be at risk. You would be well advised not to attempt to dehydrate yourself.

Try popping into the pharmacy and picking up some potassium citrate. Follow the instructions on the label for treating cystitis. For mild cystitis it's usually pretty quick to clear it up.

Drink cranberry juice or take cranberry pills. Those can help.

If your bf isn't understanding then he's kind of a jerk... UTIs are a common thing for a lot of people.

And if you two are sexually active together then sex with him might have contributed to it.
